Denise Welch playfully posted a video of herself playing basketball while wearing a swimsuit, joking that she’s gone from being known for classic style to a more athletic image – trading ‘Old Spice’ for ‘Sporty Spice’.
The 67-year-old TV star shared a video online of herself playing basketball in Los Angeles, wearing a black and orange swimsuit.
The video featured the song “Get’cha Head in the Game” from High School Musical 2, which plays during a basketball scene in the movie.
People loved the video Denise posted, and many celebrities left supportive comments.
Lizzie Cundy enthusiastically praised the person, saying ‘Love it! And love you!’, and Myleene Klass called her a ‘legend’.
Brenda Edwards, a fellow panelist on Loose Women, reacted with laughing and fire emojis, and Julia Bradbury simply wrote ‘Goal!’ in response.

Denise recently shared a playful video following her story about walking off a movie set after a heated argument with a director.
She shared that she’s only walked off a film set twice, and both times it was because she felt talked down to.
Denise recently shared on the Loose Women podcast that the unexpected incident caught everyone on set off guard, emphasizing that she’s not someone who demands special treatment.
Denise recalled being on a TV set about 30 years ago. They had rehearsed the scene around 20 times before filming.
That shot was really difficult. We needed the sugar glass to break convincingly, and something had to happen as a result. I practiced it endlessly – over and over again – until the director finally said we were ready to move on.
I quickly interrupted and asked if we could please have just one rehearsal with the actors.
The director reassured them, saying, “Don’t worry about it. We’ll make sure you look good.”
Denise, still very angry, continued, saying she told them, “Fine, I’m going to go to my dressing room and wait until you apologize.”

‘That patronising is very different to having a little bit of banter. Do you know what I mean?”.
Denise said the news that she’d abruptly left the set quickly spread among the team, but she stood by her decision and didn’t regret it.
When you consistently act professionally and avoid being demanding, it makes a bigger impact when something unexpected or difficult occurs.
Grace asked if Denise’s boss apologised, but it was half hearted.
She explained that the people she was referring to had been watching on the monitors and therefore understood how it unfolded.
I recently tackled a reader’s tricky situation – they were dealing with a really difficult boss and felt they couldn’t go to HR for help. My advice? Don’t suffer in silence! I suggested reaching out to Citizens Advice – they’re a fantastic resource for navigating these kinds of workplace challenges and can offer impartial guidance.
Loose Women will be on air for only 30 weeks of the year now, instead of the usual 52, as ITV looks to reduce spending.
Because more people are watching shows through streaming services, ITV has had to make tough choices to stay financially stable and continue producing popular programs.

Budget cuts at the broadcaster have also impacted shows like Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.
Good Morning Britain is adding an extra half hour to its show, which means Lorraine will now be on for just 30 minutes instead of a full hour.
Similar to Loose Women, Lorraine will now only be broadcast for 30 weeks of the year. When it’s off the air, Good Morning Britain will be extended to fill the slot, running from 6am to 10am.
