The plastic surgeon who performed Denise Richards’s facelift has shared dramatic before-and-after pictures of the procedure.

Richards revealed she had cosmetic surgery eight months ago when she was 55, hoping to look younger.

On Saturday, Dr. Talei shared before-and-after photos of Richards on Instagram, showcasing the results of her surgery. The photos highlighted lifted eyebrows, a more defined jawline, and an overall smoother complexion.

Dr. Talei shared in a social media post that he felt privileged to work with someone he considers one of the kindest and most beautiful people he’s ever met.

Jane Richards shared in a recent Allure interview, published Friday, that she had a facelift last year. She admitted she was very scared before the surgery.

Dr. Talei not only gave Richards a facelift, but also reshaped her eyebrows, eyelids, and lips, and added fat grafts to her face.

The actress revealed she had breast reconstruction surgery only three weeks before getting a facelift.

Just under two weeks before her contentious divorce proceedings began in July 2025, Richards had recovered from her health issue. The divorce was from her husband, Aaron Phypers.

‘I started going through my divorce 10 days after I had surgery,’ she revealed.

Honestly, it kills me that her ex is the one who spilled the beans about her surgeries! She wasn’t ready to share, and he just went and told everyone! It’s so disrespectful and I’m furious on her behalf. She deserved to announce it on her terms, not have him ruin it for her.

She said her ex-husband revealed she’d had a facelift during their divorce. He even had a photographer wait outside a doctor’s appointment where she was getting a minor procedure to improve some scars.

Richards explained that someone falsely claimed she’d had a bad facelift. She’d been debating whether to even mention having the procedure, but this person inadvertently revealed it.

After their split last summer, she accused Phypers of abuse, allegations he has vehemently denied.

Their divorce proceedings are still ongoing.

During a recent court appearance about their divorce, Richards was instructed to pay her soon-to-be ex-husband $5,000 each month for temporary financial support.

In addition to the current charges, Phyper is accused of domestic violence in 2022, facing four felony counts: two for harming a spouse and two for allegedly threatening someone to prevent them from reporting it.

In late 2025, Richards was granted a five-year restraining order against Phypers.
