Oh my gosh, you guys, I just found out that Denise Richards is having surgery next month! It’s so sad because it’s happening right in the middle of all that drama with Aaron Phypers, her soon-to-be ex. I mean, a divorce is already awful, but adding surgery on top of it? I’m seriously worried about her! I’ve been following her story so closely, and this just feels like another layer of stress in this whole messy situation.
According to legal documents filed on Friday and obtained by Daily Mail, the 54-year-old actress, who reportedly had a facelift in July, won’t be available for much of December.
Richards was replying to a request filed last Thursday by a 52-year-old man who is currently unemployed. The man asked the judge to quickly schedule a hearing to discuss spousal support, ideally within two weeks.
Phypers, also known as Cameron, stated that he is at immediate risk of becoming homeless because he has no transportation or way to communicate. He believes this can be avoided if the court hearing is moved up and if he’s granted access to significant funds currently held by [Richards].
I’m facing a serious financial crisis. I’m at risk of losing my truck, which I rely on for transportation, and could be evicted from my home at any moment. I’ve been asking friends for help with groceries, and I now have criminal charges that I need a lawyer to defend me against before my court date in mid-December.
The former CEO, who is now unemployed and says he has no income, asked the star and producer of Her Wild Things to cover $338,686 in expenses. These include bills for his truck, storage units, legal costs, and the lease on a house in Calabasas, claiming he needs the money to get by.

When Phypers initially filed for divorce from Richards on July 7th, after being married for six years, he asked the court for approximately $105,000 per month in spousal support.
However, Judge Mark Juhas of the Los Angeles Superior Court rejected the USC graduate’s request for an expedited hearing, stating there wasn’t enough urgent need. He cited a busy court schedule and the full calendar of Richards’ lawyer, Brett Berman, as reasons why the hearing is now scheduled for January 7th.
Berman requested that Judge Juhas impose a $2,000 penalty on Phypers for submitting what he called an unnecessary and baseless request without a hearing. He also stated that Phypers’ actions were only making the conflict worse and increasing legal costs.
Their next regular divorce court hearing is scheduled for January 5.
Richards recently discussed her divorce publicly for the first time, following a court order that protected her from her ex-husband, the previous owner of the Q360 Club, for five years.
The Illinois native shared that she’s doing well and taking things one step at a time. She expressed gratitude for the strong support she receives, speaking at the Bravo2Bravo panel during BravoCon in Las Vegas.
It’s really intimidating to be featured in the tabloids. Dealing with it for the first time is incredibly difficult. It’s different than being on reality TV, where your personal life is already public. On those shows, you can’t ignore what’s happening – it’s just part of it.
Following accusations of physical abuse, Judge Juhas issued an order on November 7th requiring Phypers to avoid contact with Richards, cease all threats and harassment, refrain from sharing intimate photos of her, and turn over any firearms he owns to the police.
Phypers claims he never physically hurt the Starship Troopers actor, but he was arrested on October 17th and faces charges related to a 2022 incident. He’s accused of both injuring a spouse and threatening someone to prevent them from being a witness.
Richards is asking Phypers to cover her legal fees and any costs stemming from the reported abuse. She also wants him to complete a year-long program for people who have engaged in abusive behavior.

They first started dating in December 2017, after his divorce from Nicollette Sheridan, the actress from Desperate Housewives, was completed in 2018.
Denise Richards has two daughters: Sami, age 21, and Lola, age 20. She had them during her two-year marriage to Charlie Sheen, which ended badly in 2006.
In 2011, the executive producer of Riff Raff became a single parent by adopting his 14-year-old daughter, Eloise Joni Richards.
Kim Richards is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its fifteenth season, which will begin airing on Bravo on December 4th.
The actress, known for her role in ‘The Return to Wickensburg,’ revealed last week during a Q&A session that she has a couple of episodes scheduled to air soon.
‘[It’s] just an appearance, not even a “friend of.”‘
When questioned about potentially returning to the show as a full-time cast member, Richards hinted that discussions were underway, saying, ‘We’re having conversations about it.’
