Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers claims he caught her cheating before blowout fight and divorce filing

According to Aaron Phypers, his ex-wife Denise Richards was unfaithful, which triggered a dispute and ultimately led him to initiate divorce proceedings.

52-year-old Phypers recently filed for divorce from Richards, who is also 54, having been married for six years. They officially separated on the Fourth of July, as stated in the filing documents.

In an interview with TMZ, Phypers, who Richard’s accused of physical abuse, claims he found out this year that his former spouse, now separated from him, was unfaithful.

The businessman asserts that he discovered communications between Richards and another individual on her computer. These included multiple self-portraits and messages expressing warmth, such as her sending him “sweet dreams.

Additionally, he asserts that other communications implied Richard and the second gentleman were arranging a secret meeting at a hotel, with her intending to surreptitiously bring him into her room.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Richards’ representatives for comment.

Phypers asserted that he addressed the rumored infidelity with Richards, and as a result, they chose to stay united.

But a major July 4th weekend dispute ultimately prompted him to file for divorce. 

Richard asserted that the argument initiated when Phyper resorted to verbal abuse towards him and requested his mobile device.

Phypers claims that his phone went missing for more than 24 hours. When he enquired about it from Richards, she reportedly attacked him by hitting and scratching him. Subsequently, he discovered the shattered remains of his phone in the waste bin designated for recycling.

As a dedicated follower of the facts, I firmly hold the conviction that Richard destroyed his phone due to its contents – incriminating text messages implicating him in an alleged affair, as these photos suggested.

It’s said that he asserts Richard sent a message to his mom during that weekend, indicating her plan to end their marriage. This allegedly led him to initiate the divorce proceedings before she did.

Phypers filed for divorce July 7, citing irreconcilable differences.

Although Richard hasn’t officially answered Phypers’ court petition requesting spousal support yet, he has faced some severe accusations from her about domestic abuse.

On a Wednesday, the ex-actress petitioned a court in Los Angeles for a protective order, alleging that her separated husband frequently displayed violent behavior during their union and gave her a black eye following an episode of paranoia about hidden listening devices in their potted plants.

Phypers refutes the allegations, stating that the black eye visible on Richards in the surprising photo from her recent explosive court submission was actually caused by a tumble after drinking too much.

A judge granted a domestic violence restraining order against Phypers. 

Phypers asserts that she obtained a domestic violence restraining order primarily to divert focus from the rumors of her suspected affair.

He emphasized once again that he never struck Richards in the face, clarifying, “I have never hit my wife in the face.

Apart from his earlier statement about the black eye being caused by a drunken stumble, he additionally asserted that Richard frequently trips, which can be quite awkward, and many are aware of this fact.

The pair’s marriage was plagued by other issues as well.

Phypers posted pictures of their shared living space, revealing a messy interior filled with various belongings scattered around.

As a devoted caretaker, I can attest that it fell upon me and my loved ones to shoulder the duty of managing Richard’s real estate and livestock.

A reliable source near Phypers told DailyMail.com that Phypers has never physically harmed Richards, and deemed the accusations as falsehoods.

‘The source revealed: ‘This aligns with Denise Richards’ persistent deception, as she seems to be concealing her struggle with alcohol.’

Describing a picture she provided for her restraining order application, an informant mentioned: ‘The image dates back to winter 2022, and it’s crucial to note that she was intoxicated at the moment when she tripped ascending the steps towards Aaron’s clinic Q360.’

‘She slipped and grazed her eye on the stairs, subsequently making her way to the office for treatment, which included applying ice to the affected area.’

In that particular moment, I found myself surrounded by numerous colleagues in the office, each one of them bearing witness to the unfolding events. Rest assured, I have neither ever made contact with her nor would I under any circumstances.

Previously, Richardson has openly discussed her struggles with addiction. In 2023, her speech seemed unclear during an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, causing some people to express concern.

Phypers released a statement of his own, refuting the latest accusations made by his separated spouse, Denise Richards, stating: ‘I’d like to clarify the recent gossip and conjecture about my marriage with Denise Richards.’

Allow me to make it absolutely clear: I’ve never, under any circumstances, harmed Denise, either physically or emotionally. The allegations against me are entirely untrue and incredibly painful.

Denise and I, similar to numerous other couples, have encountered our fair share of difficulties. However, it’s important to clarify that there has never been any instance of abuse in our relationship.

Ever since we tied the knot, I’ve been committed to nurturing our union with an abundance of love, perseverance, and reverence. As we journey through some private challenges, I humbly request a veil of discretion. I fervently pray that the public and media refrain from propagating unsubstantiated and hurtful rumors about us.

Two weeks ago, the process of ending their marriage initiated unexpectedly by Phypers when he filed for divorce – taking Richards off guard, as she had declared in public that she did not wish to experience another divorce.

In addition to submitting the required paperwork, he also requested a monthly spousal support amount of $105,000 and mentioned that his earnings had become nil since his clinic closed in October last year.

Instead, he depends on the earnings from his wife’s income sources, which he stated in court to be approximately $250,000 per month. A significant portion of this income comes from her OnlyFans account and her canceled reality show titled “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.

Earlier this year, Denise Richards openly acknowledged experiencing difficulties in her marriage during an episode on her reality series titled “Denise Richars and Her Wild Things.

In a March episode of the E! reality show, the mother of three stated, “Being married to me isn’t simple, but here we are, and that’s final – I’ve had enough.

‘I’m never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f****** get divorced.’

Phypers added his thoughts, suggesting they could reside in different homes, yet emphasized, “We won’t let our relationship turn sour.

Previously, Richardson was wedded to the free-spirited actor Charlie Sheen. They divorced in April 2006, when Richardson was expecting their second child, Sami.

In addition to the divorce documents, she also obtained a restraining order forbidding him from approaching within 300 feet of his former wife and children. (Sheen is 59 years old.)

In 2010, it was decided that she would have full legal control over their shared children due to marital conflict, substance abuse complications, and criminal troubles, according to various reports.

Instead of saying “The latter,” you can say “specifically, we’re talking about the incident” or “to be more specific, this refers to.” So, the sentence would read: “This incident specifically refers to Sheen’s arrest on Christmas Day 2009, which occurred when he assaulted his third wife Brooke Mueller at an Aspen, Colorado, property during a festive break.

After June 2011, Richardson continued living and took on the role of a mother to a third child named Eloise. In December 2017, she began dating Phypers, and they tied the knot just nine months later, in September 2018.

The union encountered difficulties right from the beginning, as it turned out they had started dating prior to Philip’s divorce from actress Nicolette Sheridan becoming official on Desperate Housewives.

Phypers later adopted Richards’ daughter Eloise.
