As we approach the final chapter of the Demon Slayer saga, fans are filled with apprehension about the fate of their beloved characters – whether they be human Demon Slayers or demonic foes. Will our favorite heroes triumph over adversity, or will tragedy strike amidst the cinematic climax? The suspense is palpable as we await to find out who among them will live and who will perish.

Who dies in Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle movie’s ending?

In the film, there are three significant fights: Zenitsu squares off against Kaigaku, Tanjiro and Giyu confront Akaza, and Shinobu faces off against Doma. Regrettably, these conflicts led to the demise of two Upper Ranks and one Hashira.

In the initial confrontation, Zenitsu faced off against Kaigaku. Previously, Kaigaku had been a Demon Slayer and recently ascended to the Upper Rank Six, replacing Daki. He was also an elder student during their apprenticeship under Master Jigoro Kuwajima, which made this duel particularly significant for him. The pair engaged, demonstrating their growth over time. However, with a freshly forged Seventh Form: Honoikazuchi no Kami, Zenitsu emerged victorious, severing Kaigaku’s head.

In their second encounter, Tanjiro and Water Hashira, Giyu, faced off against Upper Rank Three, Akaza. These demon slayers found it challenging to defeat him due to his infinite regeneration abilities. Despite successfully beheading him, Akaza wouldn’t stay down. However, after being inundated with recollections of his past human life and the loved ones he had lost, Akaza took his own life.

The ultimate confrontation featured Shinobu, Insect Master, against Domo, Upper Rank Two. This battle held an intense emotional weight for Shinobu, as it was Domo who had taken the life of her sister, Kanae, previously known as the Flower Master. Despite being the least physically imposing Hashira, Shinobu earned her position due to her extraordinary intellect and proficiency in numerous poisons.

Aware of her own limitations, Shinobu entered the battle, understanding that sheer strength wouldn’t enable her to defeat an Upper Rank. Over time, she had been gradually increasing the doses of wisteria poison within her body. In the end, she permitted Doma to consume her, thus introducing the poison into him from within.

Despite leading to a Hashira’s demise, it wasn’t a wasted effort. On the brink of being consumed, she managed to signal Kanao regarding the poison. In the upcoming film, the stage is poised for Kanano and Domo’s confrontation.

Although one Hashira lost their life, it wasn’t in vain as a warning was given to Kanao about the poison before being absorbed. The next movie promises a fight between Kanao and Domo.
