Demon Slayer Reveals 3 New Automatic Watches for International Release

Demon Slayer fans can now show their support with new, high-end watches! Garrack, a luxury brand, has released three new designs inspired by the powerful Hashira characters as part of its S-MEISTER collection.

The latest collection features three watches inspired by the Hashira – Sanemi Shinazugawa, Obanai Iguro, and Gyomei Himejima – combining their unique looks with traditional Japanese artistry. According to a major international retailer, the Sanemi and Obanai models cost around $590, and the Gyomei model is priced at $620. Each watch face uses a special silver foil created with the historic Kanazawa leaf technique and features designs taken from the characters’ clothing.

Garrack Reveals New Series of Unique Hashira-Themed Demon Slayer Watches

I’m absolutely loving these new watches! Sanemi’s is so cool – it has this awesome green and silver dial, and a little Kasugai Crow perched at the 12 o’clock mark. Obanai’s is just as amazing, completely inspired by Kaburamaru, his snake! The dial is designed after his signature silver and black coat. What’s really neat about both of them is the disk in the middle – it shows off each character’s sword guard and actually moves with the seconds! And get this – the hour and minute hands are styled to match each character’s look, it’s incredible attention to detail!

The Gyomei Himejima watch differs from other designs by using the chain from his signature flail and axe as the hour and minute hands. When the hands meet at the 10 and 2 o’clock positions, they form a complete image of the weapon. While still featuring the Kasugai Crow on top, the rotating disk displays the character “南” (south) from Gyomei’s coat, replacing the usual sword guard. All three watch models come with a leather strap.

These watches are a result of Garrack’s partnership with Demon Slayer, featuring designs inspired by the characters Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Kyojuro Rengoku, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka, and Shinobu Kocho.

New Demon Slayer Watches are Steeped in Traditional Japanese Art

The S-MEISTER collection is special because it features gold leaf made in Kanazawa, a city in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. For centuries, Japanese artisans have used gold leaf to decorate everything from temples to pottery, and Kanazawa is renowned for its expertise in crafting this delicate material.

To create the high-quality metal used in our dials, it’s heated to 1300°C and then repeatedly rolled and stretched – over 20 times, in fact. This process reduces the metal to an incredibly thin final thickness of just 0.0001mm.

To accurately capture the distinctive colors of the Wind, Serpent, and Stone Hashiras from Demon Slayer, Garrack chose silver leaf instead of the usual gold for these watch designs. Each watch dial is then carefully hand-painted by expert craftspeople, guaranteeing a unique texture and reflecting the individual character of each Hashira.

These watches are being released alongside the huge success of the Infinity Castle movie, which is still breaking box office records worldwide. Although Sanemi, Obanai, and Gyomei had smaller parts in the first Infinity Castle film, they’ll be central to the climactic battles against Muzan Kibutsuji, which will be shown in the next two movies.
