SEGA has revealed that the sequel to “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles,” titled “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2,” will hit shelves in August, along with a fresh new trailer.
In the recently released video, we get a glimpse of the Entertainment District Arc from the upcoming anime series, which will be featured in the Story Mode of the sequel. This new game, following 2021’s “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles”, is another action-packed arena brawler with a vast array of characters to choose from.
In addition to Story Mode, there will be a new gameplay option called Versus Mode, featuring over 40 characters like Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, along with all characters from the initial game. If you have save data from the original game or the board game spin-off “Sweep the Board!”, you’ll earn bonuses in this fresh release.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that my package contains:
– Six Character Unlock Keys for Kimetsu Academy, featuring Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka, complete with data from the initial game.
– A Character Unlock Key for a combined playable character: Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma (the trio).
– Three ‘Meal Prep’ Battle Attire Costumes for Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma, accompanied by a “Sweep the Board!” save.
Can’t wait to dive back into the action!
The sequel to ‘Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles’ is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on August 5th. Pre-orders for the digital version are available starting today.
