Demi Moore shared her deep sadness and shock over the tragic deaths of director Rob Reiner’s wife, Michele Singer, and him.
The 63-year-old celebrity shared a heartfelt remembrance of Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, who were found stabbed to death at their $13.5 million home in Brentwood on Sunday. Police have stated that their son, 32-year-old Nick, is believed to be responsible for the deaths.
The actress, known for her role in the 1992 thriller A Few Good Men directed by Reiner, shared memories of how close they were and how their kids had grown up as if they were one big family.
She shared on Instagram Monday that she was heartbroken and couldn’t find the words to describe how deeply she felt the loss of Rob and Michelle Reiner.
We watched our children grow up together and worked closely with each other, and I’ll always treasure the personal and professional connections we made over the years, as our lives became so intertwined, Moore continued.
She described them as incredible people and devoted parents who dedicated their lives to improving the world.

Moore concluded her message by expressing her deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and everyone impacted by this tragic event.
Demi Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis have three daughters: Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31.
Rob and Michele had three children together: sons Jake, 34, and Nick, and daughter Romy, 28. Rob also adopted a daughter, Tracy Reiner, during his marriage to Penny Marshall.
In the acclaimed film A Few Good Men, Demi Moore played Lieutenant Commander Joanne Galloway. The movie, which received four Academy Award nominations, also featured prominent actors like Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and Kevin Bacon.
Moore shared a picture from the set of ‘A Few Good Men’ with her post, showing her smiling alongside Rob Reiner, Tom Cruise, and Kevin Bacon.
The star also shared a photo of Rob and Michele at the premiere of When Harry Met Sally in 1989.
Moore’s co-star Bacon also shared some heartfelt thoughts about the director.
‘I’m not sure how to do this,’ he said in an emotional clip on Instagram.

I landed a role in “A Few Good Men” thanks to Rob Reiner, sometime in the 1990s. I was incredibly excited because “This Is Spinal Tap” is my favorite movie of all time, so getting that call from him was a real thrill.
‘The making of that movie was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a set,’ Bacon continued.
He was a really enjoyable person to be around. It starts with leadership – creating an atmosphere where everyone feels motivated and works diligently, but also feels safe, comfortable, and has fun.
We ate lunch together every day, which was unusual for me – I’d never done that with a director before or since. Michele and Kyra had a wonderful connection, and Kyra would often bring her son, Travis, along. It was a really special and memorable period.
‘So I’m just sending love to everybody that knew him because I know that everyone’s hurting today.’
Kiefer Sutherland, known for his role in A Few Good Men, expressed his sadness upon hearing the news about Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele. He described Reiner as a genuinely kind person and shared that Reiner gave him a life-changing opportunity early in his career, for which he’s eternally thankful.
Rob and Michele were found dead by their daughter, Romy.
Nick, who has struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues in the past, is now accused of murder in a federal case and is currently being held in jail without the possibility of bail.

The arrest happened after Romy apparently suggested to police that a family member should be considered a suspect, describing them as dangerous.
Just hours before, Nick was at a holiday party with his parents, where witnesses said they had a very heated and noticeable argument that worried some of the other guests.
According to a source at comedian Conan O’Brien’s party, Nick was behaving erratically and repeatedly asked guests if they were celebrities.
It was heartbreaking to watch Nick struggle. His family had been supporting him through a really tough time with his mental health and substance use for months, and they honestly felt like they’d exhausted every option, as they told people. I remember hearing they’d really tried everything to help him.
Nick had even previously attended rehab when he was just about 15 years old.
Nick shared that by the time he turned 22 in 2016, he’d been to rehab 17 times. He also mentioned that he’d experienced homelessness several times because he didn’t accept help when it was offered.
He explained to People that he would have become homeless if he hadn’t followed his family’s recommended path and instead tried to handle things on his own.
I experienced homelessness in Maine, New Jersey, and Texas. I lived on the streets for nights and even weeks at a time, and it was a very difficult experience.
Eventually, Nick said he ‘got sick of it.
I became really tired of that lifestyle. I was raised in a good family and don’t belong out on the streets or in shelters, getting into difficult situations.
A year earlier, Nick’s parents admitted they hadn’t handled his addiction well. They realized they should have listened to him directly, but instead, they depended on doctors and other healthcare providers to help him.
Reiner recalled to the Los Angeles Times that they didn’t heed Nick’s concerns when he said something wasn’t going well.
We were in a difficult situation, and we mistakenly trusted the opinions of people with degrees instead of trusting our own son’s instincts.

Michele explained that they were heavily swayed by others who constantly told them this person was dishonest and manipulative, and they readily believed those accusations.
After getting sober, Nick teamed up with his father to write the movie Being Charlie, a film inspired by Nick’s own experiences with addiction and how it affected his family.
Nick contributed to the film while in recovery and worked closely with his father, the director, on the project. The film portrays a difficult father-son relationship, mirroring the real-life experiences of the Reiner family, as they shared when it was released.
The story concludes with the father apologizing for sometimes being too hard on his son, even sending him to rehab – a situation the director, Reiner, mirrored in his own life with his son.
The Reiner family has released a statement expressing their deep sadness over the deaths of Michele and Rob Reiner. They described the loss as tragic and asked for privacy as they cope with this incredibly painful time.
In September, the family gathered for one last complete portrait: Nick, Romy, their son Jake and his wife Maria Gilfillan, at the premiere of Spinal Tap 2, a film Nick both directed and wrote.
