As I delve into the life of Tallulah Willis, I am deeply moved by her courage and honesty. Her journey, marked by self-discovery, acceptance, and resilience, is truly inspiring. She has faced challenges head-on, from battling body dysmorphia to publicly sharing her diagnosis of autism.

Tallulah Willis courageously posted a picture showing how her skin appears when she struggles with her compulsive skin-picking habit.

It was a flashback photo from three years ago shared to Instagram on Sunday.

‘Sharing an old photo, yet eagerly expressing a message from the rooftops – choosing (or picking) is definitely a reality!’, said the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.

‘And honestly it can be beautiful?’ added the budding star.

Next time there’s a power outage and you wake up with numerous small, scaly marks, show yourself some kindness instead! Please do! Thank you!

Her sister Scout Willis hit the like button.

Tallulah tagged a board certified nurse practitioner named Jennifer Hollander.

She often posts about Melasma and procedures like the Vampire Facial.

As a seasoned lifestyle advisor, allow me to shed some light on a specific psychological issue: the habitual act of skin picking, often referred to as dermatillomania or excoriation disorder. In simpler terms, it’s an unwanted, repetitive behavior that drives individuals to persistently pick at their skin, according to the esteemed Cleveland Clinic.

In June, a woman aged 30 posted stunning before-and-after photos on Instagram, showcasing her face’s recovery from the said condition.

The actress, having recently disclosed her autism diagnosis, previously shared a picture of herself with patches of red, crusted sores and scrapes across her mouth, nose, and eyelids.

The ‘after’ photo revealed a much clearer, blemish-free visage.

‘PICKING HAPPENS!! And then healing **can ** happen,’ she captioned the carousel.

‘Healing doesn’t have to mean clear skin, and it doesn’t mean intrusive thoughts stop intruding, and it doesn’t mean you’re not gonna do it again. it’s small wins.’

Overwhelmed by my passion, I exclaim: ‘I’ve found a fellowship in this fight, and I yearn deeply to reveal the strategies that led me to triumph! Let us join forces to uplift and save the countless endearing souls across the globe!’

In 2021, the celebrity initially disclosed her health condition, sharing with her followers that she was elated by the progress she was experiencing in her skincare regimen.

In a post featuring matching before-and-after pictures, Tallulah expressed, ‘Updates on my skin from someone who’s always eagerly fidgeting and has a habit of compulsively picking!’

Previously known figure from Dancing with the Stars penned down, ‘We’ve reached the highest, most radiant, and supple extraterrestrial skincare objectives.’ She proceeded to post a lineup of skincare brands she was utilizing, making an effort not to touch her face.

She added: ‘NOT TOUCHIN MY PRECIOUS DELICATE FACHE W GRUBBY NAILS IN 4 – COUNT EM’ – 4 MONTHS.’

Tallulah expressed that she had never felt “so eager to boast” and was “incredibly thrilled” about the advancements she was achieving in her self-improvement journey.

The recent post on social media, published on a Wednesday, follows Tallulah disclosing her new diagnosis of autism for the first time. She shared insights into how this diagnosis significantly impacted her life since she became aware of it during the summer.

She shared her health discovery amid her father’s ongoing battle with dementia.

I recently shared a nostalgic clip from the red carpet premiere of “The Whole Ten Yards” in 2004, where my beloved father and I were side by side. Over the past two years, he’s been bravely battling frontotemporal dementia and aphasia. In this video, he was still vibrant and full of life, just as he was when he starred alongside me in that movie at only 10 years old.

With the post, she wrote: ‘Tell me [you’re] autistic without telling me [you’re] autistic.’

In the video, a young Tallulah, held by Bruce, can be observed playfully pulling on his earlobes and running her hands multiple times over his shaved head.

Her post prompted a follower to ask about her diagnosis.

As a fellow human being who has also faced unexpected challenges, I can deeply empathize with the actress’s revelation that she is sharing her diagnosis for the first time publicly. Receiving such news can turn one’s world upside down and bring about profound changes in life. In my own experience, I learned that these transformations, while difficult, often lead to personal growth and a greater appreciation for the preciousness of each day. I wish her strength, courage, and hope as she continues to navigate this journey with grace and resilience.

In another instance, Scout LaRue penned down, ‘She’s exhibiting self-stimulating behavior,’ to which Tallulah responded, ‘Man, the ear gesture. If only our audio was more powerful.’

The Cleveland Clinic explains that ‘stimming’ refers to an individual performing repetitive actions or producing similar sounds.

It’s a way for people to regulate their emotions and it’s ‘often (though not always) associated with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions.’

Over time, Tallulah has openly discussed topics like self-care and body image struggles, offering uplifting advice to her online audience.

Last year, I shared on Instagram a personal revelation about self-criticism and body image. Specifically, I admitted to having punished myself for not resembling my mother, following comments that suggested I looked more like my father instead. This experience underscores the importance of embracing our unique features and avoiding comparisons that can lead to unnecessary self-judgment.

She declared, ‘I didn’t appreciate the similarity because I mistakenly thought that my “masculine” appearance was solely responsible for my unattractiveness – which is FALSE! I am and always have been valuable and deserving of love, regardless of my age, size, or hairstyle (just like you).’

She added, ‘You need to soothe the wound within your soul before trying to “fix” the outsides.

As a lifestyle guide, I encourage you to always be aware of the sensitive minds in your surroundings who are actively engaging with social media. Be vigilant about content that may contain potentially triggering images or messages related to body image and self-worth. Remember, an excessive preoccupation with one’s appearance might not just be about feeling comfortable in their skin; it could hint at deeper emotional struggles. Let’s strive to create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued beyond their physical appearance.
