Demi Moore, 62, Wows in Silky Gown with Stunning Slim Waist at Time100 Gala!

At the glamorous Time100 Gala in New York City on a recent Thursday, Demi Moore once again showcased her timeless charm and youthful looks.

62-year-old actress from The Substance movie, one of Time Magazine’s most influential people in 2025, graced the red carpet alongside stars like Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson.

The following day, she provided a revealing four-word statement about her potential Oscars, having been defeated by Mia Goth (Mikey Madison’s real name) in the previous month of March.

Moore was astonishingly radiant in a halter-neck, ivory dress, adorned with waistline ruching and a long, sweeping train that gracefully touched the floor.

Her medium-length, black hair was neatly divided in the center, cascading freely beyond her shoulder blades.

Demi added some sparkle to her ensemble, wearing drop earrings studded with diamonds, a shimmering bracelet, and eye-catching rings on both hands.

The star enhanced her appearance by applying mascara on her eyelashes and a bronzed eyeshadow around her eyes.

Her cheeks turned slightly rosy as she applied a soft, silky pink lipstick to complete the look.

Upon reaching the Lincoln Center, host of the dazzling affair, Moore adorned herself with an ivory jacket casually slung across her shoulders, assuming several different poses.

Before proceeding to the main events, the actress stopped momentarily after capturing photos along the red carpet, particularly in front of a grand staircase.

This month, it was revealed that Demi is among the notable figures listed in Time100’s Most Influential People. Other prominent individuals on this list include Serena Williams, Blake Lively, and Ed Sheeran.

As I chatted with the interviewer, my mind drifted back to the captivating role of Elizabeth Sparkle from The Substance, a performance that garnered me an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. And let’s not forget, it’s hard to ignore the fact that age, too, has been a significant part of my journey in this incredible industry.

‘It’s fascinating to explore a fresh perspective about how we perceive women in their 60s. We should consider the societal norms and restrictions that have been placed upon us, but also delve deeper into the self-imposed limitations we may not even realize. ‘

The Ghost actress continued, ‘In fact, this is an incredibly powerful, exciting, and alive time.’

Just a few days ago, during the Time100 Summit on Wednesday, Moore openly discussed her experience of not winning an Oscar and shared her thoughts about possibly receiving another nomination in the future.

It was truly a delight to become acquainted with Mikey Madison, and I believe her acting was nothing short of extraordinary.

She remarked, “In truth, it seems unusual for there to even be a contest. However, had I emerged victorious, it would have served as a fitting culmination to what had initially begun.

When the conversation turned to if she might win an Oscar, Demi responded casually: ‘It’d be great if that happened.’

Moore later stated, ‘I wouldn’t be angry about it. The question of whether I should have won might not be the right perspective, as I didn’t win, and I truly believe that everything in life happens for me, not to me.’

When viewing it from that perspective, it provides a distance for me to ponder, “What message is this conveying to me?” At that instant, a great deal of expectation that I would emerge victorious was conveyed, which inevitably leads to feelings of disillusionment.

The star expressed, ‘I too, instinctively understand that there exists something more significant than myself, requiring my devotion, regardless of whether I’m aware of its identity or its purpose.’

In her chat with the magazine, Demi shared her thoughts on losing at the Oscars, confessing that she had a premonition she wouldn’t be the one to win.

For some reason, I somehow knew it, but I did, and I felt remarkably composed and tranquil. I wasn’t filled with sorrow or any other negative emotions. Instead, I placed my faith in the situation, trusting that whatever happens will unfold as it should.

Although Demi didn’t win an Oscar, she still received significant accolades during award season, including a Golden Globe and a SAG Award.

This past week, I found myself absolutely thrilled to learn that my beloved actress has been honored as People’s Most Beautiful Soul!

The star expressed that they feel more at ease and confident with themselves now than they ever have, during an interview for their magazine cover feature.

In all honesty, the most profound liberty I’ve discovered is by embracing myself exactly as I am.

Demi emphasized, ‘That, in my opinion, serves as a daily prompt. It’s a daily acknowledgment that embraces everything I am, not only what I appreciate but also what I may not necessarily like about myself.’

The actress, mother of three daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, admitted openly, ‘Although I generally have excellent health overall, there are moments when I stand before a mirror and think to myself, “I can’t help but feel old” or “My face appears to be aging rapidly.”‘

I agree, and there are certain aspects I’m not fond of. It would be more comfortable if it didn’t seem as though it might slip or fall.

Although it might not be ideal, I acknowledge this is my current state. What sets me apart today, though, is that it does not dictate my worth or identity.
