Demi Lovato showcased a strong, powerful presence as she headed up the celebrities attending the third annual World Mental Health Day Gala hosted by Project Healthy Minds on Thursday evening.
At Spring Studios in New York City, the former Disney Channel star, aged 32 and fresh from releasing a Hulu documentary, made a bold appearance on the red carpet in a stylish, all-black ensemble.
Demi slipped her enviable curves into a sleeveless PVC dress with a chic mock neckline.

On October 10, Thursday, both World Mental Health Day and the third annual World Mental Health Day festival hosted by Project Healthy Minds were celebrated.
At the Thursday gala, Demi appeared just a few weeks following the debut of her Hulu documentary titled “Child Star.” This film delves into the challenges faced during childhood stardom.
It includes open, honest reflections from ex-child actors such as Drew Barrymore, JoJo Siwa, and Christina Ricci.
In my journey as a lifestyle expert, I found myself stepping into the limelight at just nine years old, gracing the set of Barney & Friends in the heart of Hollywood. Fast forward to my teenage years, and I became a familiar face across households, thanks to my stint on the Disney Channel.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the incredible journey of this talented soul. At an age most are still figuring things out, she graced our screens in the cherished Camp Rock movie series, and then kicked off a thriving music career. This career was marked by several sold-out tours, both as a headliner and opening act, before she even turned 18!
However, the limelight exacted a heavy price from Demi, as she silently battled with substance abuse and psychological turmoil during her peak years at Disney.

Each year, I eagerly anticipate the Glamour Women of the Year event, a prestigious celebration hosted by Glamour magazine. This special occasion recognizes remarkable women who have left indelible marks in their respective industries through their outstanding achievements.
