Demi Lovato showed off her fit stomach while joining other celebrities at the first National PrEP Day event in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 33-year-old singer was accompanied by Cardi B, 32, who is expecting her fourth child – and her first with NFL player Stefon Diggs – as the group worked together to increase awareness about HIV.

Demi looked fashionable in a mesh top with a bold graphic print. She paired it with a knee-length zip-up skirt and peep-toe heels.

Meanwhile, rapper Cardi showed off her growing baby bump in a semi-sheer fitted black dress. 

She added a pair of strappy heels and opted for a dramatic makeup look to complete her outfit. 

MISTR is starting a program to help 10,000 more people access PrEP, a medicine that lowers the chances of getting HIV.

David Furnish, Elton John’s husband, was also there, looking stylish in a leather jacket and jeans.

Oh my gosh, I was *so* excited to see Kim Petras there, and she was with Tristan Schukraft! They took pictures together, it was amazing. And NeNe Leakes was there too, looking fabulous and smiling for everyone on the blue carpet – a total queen!

Demi recently shared in an interview with Paper Magazine how vital safe spaces are for LGBTQ+ people.

The celebrity showed off a revealing look in a magazine, wearing a see-through polka dot top without a bra.

Demi, who uses she/her and they/them pronouns, publicly came out as nonbinary in May 2021 and discussed how their identity connects to both queerness and club culture.

The singer said: ‘My connection with queer club culture is … I love going out with my friends.

I really enjoy dancing, and I feel much safer doing it in LGBTQ+ spaces. I don’t feel as secure when I’m at clubs geared towards straight people.

I’m worried things are becoming more dangerous. When I’m in a safe, queer space, I feel comfortable and surrounded by friends, and I know I’ll enjoy myself.

She explained that she’s always felt more comfortable and secure around queer people, likely because their genuine way of life encourages her to be herself.

The Cool for the Summer songstress married musician Jordan Lutes, 34, in May.

In the interview, she shared that she started using drugs and alcohol at a young age, explaining it was a way to cope with being bullied and to escape her problems.

Oh my gosh, I just read this thing about Demi and it’s so heartbreaking, but also… wow. Apparently, growing up was *really* tough. She said she used to sneak alcohol from her stepfather all the time as a teenager – can you imagine?! But then it got even worse. She started doing cocaine when she was only seventeen, and she actually *said* she loved it too much. It’s just… devastating to hear her be so honest about it. I’m just so worried about her, but I admire her strength in sharing this.

Demi was sober between the ages of 20 and 26, but in 2018, she experienced a life-threatening overdose. This led to significant health problems, including legal blindness and brain damage, following a heart attack and three strokes while she was hospitalized.
