Delta Goodrem makes a grand arrival at Sydney hotspot as she steps out for lunch in a billowing gown – and has her chauffeur carry the train

Delta Goodrem looked every inch the diva on Thursday when she stepped out for lunch in Sydney.

Singer Natalie Imbruglia, 41, looked stylish as she attended the launch of her new perfume, ‘Within,’ at the upscale Mimi’s restaurant in Coogee.

Delta looked more like a movie star than someone headed to lunch, wearing a flowing, light blue dress that moved beautifully in the ocean breeze.

The dress had a sophisticated high neckline that draped into a flowing scarf, and sheer sleeves that highlighted Delta’s arms.

The head-turning dress also featured a dramatic train which fell to the floor behind the singer. 

Okay, let me tell you, I saw something wild the other night. Delta arrived, and honestly, it was a total power move. Instead of having a traditional assistant help with her gown’s train, she actually had her chauffeur walk behind her and carry it! It was a pretty extra moment, and definitely made a statement. Talk about arriving in style – or should I say, having someone ensure you arrive in style?

Delta’s outfit included a flowing gown and white peep-toe heels, which were mostly hidden by the dress’s long skirt.

Delta wore her long, golden blonde hair down, and it flowed naturally over her shoulders.

The singer completed her outfit with vintage-style sunglasses and a stylish white leather Chanel bag.

Delta looked delighted to be out in the fashionable Sydney neighborhood, cheerfully waving to the photographers as she entered the restaurant.

She seemed happy and cheerful, even though she came to the restaurant alone, without her husband, Matthew Copley.

Delta is, no doubt, enjoying married life after tying the knot with Matthew back in June.

According to New Idea, the wedding on June 16th was a lavish, several-day event with close friends and family in attendance.

Oh my gosh, it was incredible! Delta’s mom was there, Lea, and her brother Trent! And can you believe Renee Bargh, the TV presenter? I nearly died! Plus, Airlie Walsh, the journalist I used to see on Nine, and Delta’s bestie, Danielle Cox! It was a dream come true seeing everyone all in one place, honestly!

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? Their wedding wasn’t just thrown together – apparently, they’d been planning it for two whole years! And the guests? They didn’t just get an invitation, they got a full schedule of events! It was so meticulously planned, it’s insane! I’m obsessed with every detail!

The singer, known for her song ‘Innocent Eyes,’ celebrated her bachelorette party with close friends in Sydney on April 26th, before traveling abroad for her wedding.

Delta became engaged to her guitarist and musical partner, Matthew, in September 2023. She has generally kept her personal life private.

‘My best friend asked me to marry him,’ she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta also shared footage of the precious moment to her social media platforms.

In a November 2020 interview with HELLO!, Delta shared that she and Matthew worked well together as a team.
