As a seasoned gamer with decades worth of experience under my belt, I must say I’m absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Global Open Beta for Delta Force! After following its development from its humble beginnings as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, I’ve been eagerly waiting for this moment. The fact that it’s going to be free and open to everyone is just the icing on the cake.
Instead of entering an Early Access phase, Delta Force will be launched as a Global Open Beta for PC in December.
In early 2024, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops) successfully conducted a closed alpha test. Subsequently, they participated in Steam Next Fest, generating excitement among players anticipating PC Early Access. Now, instead of Early Access, a Global Open Beta for Delta Force is approaching.
Moving on from the Hawk Ops tagline and making it accessible to all, here’s a rundown of the changes and their implications for the future of Delta Force.
Delta Force PC Global Open Beta to launch on December 5
Initially scheduled for December 5, 2024, as the start of Early Access for PC gamers, it has been updated to mark the beginning of a global open beta on that same date, specifically for Delta Force.
The game’s first version has officially been launched, marking the start of its continuous live-service updates, packed with loads of fresh content. They won’t pause the progress, and anticipate that both console and mobile editions will be available in the first quarter of 2025.
Season 1 of Delta Force is known as Genesis

The simultaneous debut of the Delta Force PC Global Open Beta and Season 1, titled Genesis, as per the developer’s statement, promises a wealth of new content that will entice gamers to return repeatedly.
In the updated version of the game, you’ll encounter a fresh Operator, various modes and maps for both Havoc Warfare and Hazard Operations, along with new weapons, vehicles, user interface, mechanics, servers, and numerous other features. This update will also include a Battle Pass that comes with certain paid elements, but the developers assure us there won’t be any pay-to-win aspects in their microtransactions.
