Honestly, the reaction from other gamers was pretty negative when the news dropped. I saw a lot of people asking if the plan had changed, because a lot of us were expecting a five-season arc. One person even said four seasons just wasn’t enough to tell the whole story, and I totally agree – I was really disappointed too.
However, some people weren’t bothered, and others wished the show would conclude in a satisfying way, rather than feeling hurried.
From its three seasons so far, the show has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The *Boston Globe* praised the consistently excellent performances, and *The Atlantic* commented that while the plot was far-fetched, the series offered a surprisingly disturbing and original perspective.
Okay, so I just heard what Perri Nemiroff said about the show, and she totally nailed it. She described it as a really gripping and surprisingly evil-fun watch – basically, the mystery is super complex and keeps you hooked, and the actors are all fantastic. It’s seriously good stuff!
