Deleted Ballerina Scene Reveals Shocking John Wick Favor That Changes Everything!

The Baba Yaga makes a brief detour from his story in an unreleased clip.

The extra scene made public by the production team sheds light on how John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves) became entangled in Eve Macarro’s (Ana de Armas) storyline towards the end of the spinoff. This encounter, highly anticipated by fans, unfolds on a train. As John is woken up by an employee, he learns that their travel plans have been altered. This change prompts him to take a call from Anjelica Huston’s character, who reminds him of a favor she had granted him in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum’. The Director, sensing trouble due to Eve’s vendetta causing unrest among the Ruska Roma, decides to cash in her favor prematurely. Moreover, she subtly warns Wick that his own protection could be jeopardized if he refuses, leaving him with no choice but to comply with this unexpected request.

In the sequence of events following “The Continental” series, the movie “Ballerina” was set, unfolding during both “Parabellum” and “John Wick: Chapter 4.” Many actors who appeared in “Parabellum” reprised their roles for this spinoff. Currently, several more spinoffs are being developed, including one centered around Donnie Yen‘s character Caine from “Chapter 4,” and another focusing on the aftermath of John Wick’s actions in the last movie. Interestingly, Keanu Reeves will reprise his role for an upcoming spinoff that delves into how Wick managed to accomplish the seemingly impossible task that led him to initially retire as an assassin, a reference made in the original “John Wick” film.

Ballerina Is Now Available on Digital

Although it was screened in cinemas last month, “Ballerina” has unexpectedly gained significant momentum, climbing up to the second position on iTunes’ charts since its digital launch. The narrative revolves around Eve, a former member of the assassin organization that nurtured John Wick, who is driven by her desire for vengeance for her father’s death. Eventually, she confronts the individual responsible in a secretive cult-like settlement.

Similar to the John Wick series, this movie was applauded for its imaginative action sequences, where de Armas’ character employed unconventional weapons such as a flamethrower and ice skates to take down henchmen. The film concluded on a poignant note, with Eve discovering a bounty on her head, implying that she must confront the repercussions set by John Wick and Winston, as it is a harsh world where one does not simply escape unscathed. Therefore, Eve’s next course of action will be deciding how to handle the consequences of her actions in this film.

To mark the tenth year since the release of John Wick, Lionsgate launched a new documentary named “Wick is Pain,” which delves into how influential figures such as Reeve, Chad Stahelski, and Derek Kolstad crafted this legendary series. Meanwhile, outside the realm of the John Wick films, Chad Stahelski’s upcoming projects feature Henry Cavill and a movie adaptation based on the video game Ghost of Tsushima.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is currently playing in theaters.
