Defiant fan breaks silence after pulling Kacey Musgraves’ hair: ‘I regret supporting her music’
As someone who has spent years observing human behavior and learning from various life experiences, I find the story of this woman quite intriguing, if not a bit puzzling. On one hand, she attended a concert expecting to enjoy the music and perhaps meet her idol. But on the other hand, she found herself in an unexpected situation when she reached out to touch Kacey Musgraves, only to be met with a less-than-welcoming response.
On Facebook, the person rumored to have tugged Kacey Musgraves’ hair at her Tampa, FL show last Friday has finally spoken up.
In a TikTok video, a woman with a grin could be seen playfully pulling on the long hair of a 36-year-old country artist as she navigated through the audience from the stage at Amalie Arena. This action caused her to halt and exclaim, “What in the world!” or something similar.
The security officer, presumably, was spotted heading towards the woman who appeared drunk, subsequently escorting her out of the premises.
On the following evening, Kacey took the stage at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. There, she labeled a woman as a “Hollywood-Tampa jerk” who spoiled the experience for everyone present.
In simpler terms, the seven-time Grammy winner said that he had expected he might need to show some true Texas toughness towards her. He went on to mention removing his earrings.
“Florida is quite lively. It was reminiscent of entering your personal details into the ‘Florida Man Challenge’, except it brought up a Tampa woman instead.
On Monday, the user @spaceyvicky, known as X, shared a Facebook post that was reportedly penned by the woman in question, who staunchly declined to offer an apology, and inadvertently misspelled Kacey’s first name.
She expressed that she, being a thrilled fan, had extended her hand with the hope of a touch, but it seemed like the situation suddenly took on a sinister appearance, as she put it in her writing.
‘One thing I can say is that Jesus knows my heart and loves me oh so much.’
The woman in question predominantly used her message to voice complaints regarding the followers of Musgrave, who swiftly recognized her and subjected her to unwanted attention on her social media platforms.
‘I just hope none of y’all face all this [nonsense] that’s going on,’ she wrote.
It seems that individuals are publicly targeting my personal information on TikTok by sharing my full name, usernames, and location, with the intention of causing harm. I now regret having supported her music or even purchasing VIP access to view it. The artist who refers to their fans as a “Tampa b****” is… To be honest, I’ve had enough – please stop asking me more questions.
In response to the woman’s seemingly insincere apology, user @heavxnis tweeted: ‘A genuine person who accidentally does something shows it immediately on their face. It’s striking that she showed no reaction to Kacey’s reaction, as if she wasn’t genuinely sorry.’
X user @spaceyvicky agreed, writing: ‘The only acceptable reaction would be to immediately apologize [but] she was smiling and looked very proud of herself so [I don’t know].’

Additionally, she reached out, yearning to connect gently with her, yet she was wild. Simultaneously, she enclosed her entire palm tightly around her own wrist and drew her closer. However, there was no doubt about it.
User @guncleizzy exclaimed with delight: ‘It was evident she smiled upon hearing Kacey say “wtf”. An unintentional over-eager fan might have felt embarrassed in such a situation.’

In the upcoming music video for her song “The Architect,” the fierce performer chose to smear mud all over her unclothed form. This video will be aired on Wednesday morning at 9 am Pacific Standard Time.
On this coming Thursday, Kacey will be appearing at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of her upcoming 49-show Deeper Well World Tour, which is projected to generate $425,000 in ticket sales.
On the 8th of November, Musgraves received a total of four nominations, one of which was for Best Country Album, at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards that will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ starting from the 2nd of February.
