And the vitriol has, understandably, taken its toll.
Timothée doesn’t pay much attention to negative comments online, but Kylie does, and seeing her upset bothers him, according to a source.
He’s been eager to clarify his feelings for her, and he’s hoping to put an end to all the negativity surrounding their relationship.
Gallant, indeed – though you’d surely be forgiven for asking why it took him quite so long.
