Ghost Ship Publishing announced today that their solo survival auto-shooter, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, will be available on mobile devices this winter. Following a successful launch on PC and Xbox Series consoles earlier this month, the mobile version – created in partnership with Funday Games and Piktiv – is now open for pre-registration.

I’m really drawn to the concept of a lone dwarf battling the dangers of Planet Hoxxes. It’s fun to eliminate bugs, improve your equipment, and explore further into the caves. Finding new weapons to use against hordes of creatures and collecting valuable loot just seems incredibly enjoyable.

Players can explore the beloved universe and clear missions in a top-down view

I’m really enjoying how each mission feels fresh and different, with randomly created caves and enemies – it’s similar to the original game. While I still like playing in first-person, I’m fascinated by the idea of experiencing this world from a top-down view.

If you enjoy the series, you’ll definitely want to check this one out. It features fast-paced, automatic shooting, interesting new environments like the Azure Weald and Magma Core, and a new Gear system. This system allows you to customize your loadout with Armor, Weapon Mods, Gadgets, and Bosco’s chips, adding a lot of exciting possibilities.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will be available on Android and iOS this winter. You can sign up now to be notified when it launches through the Google Play Store or App Store. The App Store currently lists the release date as November 12th.
