On June 12th, a petition for divorce was submitted, thereby making it an official proceeding. Nevertheless, the related documents were kept confidential and not released to the public until June 23rd.

Before the verdict was made official, two additional documents were submitted on June 10. One was called a ‘Qualified Medical Child Support Order’, which dealt with matters concerning the children’s health insurance, and the other was named ‘Findings of Fact/Conclusions of Law.’

The divorce was finalized some time back, but the judge had yet to officially endorse the verdict following the submission of the proposed ruling.

According to a source, it’s been reported that Furness, who shares two adopted kids with the actor known as Wolverine, has been making ‘spousal support payments.’ This information was shared by the same source who had earlier spoken to Daily Mail.

It was disclosed that Furness is content with the agreement, which involves a substantial alimony payment to his spouse.

In the end, there were discussions back and forth about the financial agreement, but ultimately, she received what she felt was fair. As a result, both parties find themselves in a financially stable position moving forward.

Additional documents filed by her attorney encompass a notice outlining the extension of health insurance coverage, a draft of a qualified medical child support order, a New York state case registry form (used for reporting child support orders to the state’s database), the settlement agreement, a proposed judgment of divorce, and a certificate confirming dissolution.

All that needed to be done was for the judge to sign off on the judgment.

In simpler terms, the divorce is ‘uncontested,’ which means there was no significant argument or dispute between the couple who are getting divorced.

According to another source, they’ve already figured out all the specifics concerning a potential agreement, including child support, future costs for their kids, and the overall settlement, as reported by Daily Mail.

‘They are amicable and they are both fully committed to being the best parents that they can be.’

They added that Jackman was ‘looking forward to the future and not looking back’.

Following the announcement of their divorce, Furness left fans stunned as she referred to her experiences as a ‘painful ordeal’ that involved ‘feelings of betrayal’.
