Death Stranding Film From A24 Lands A Quiet Place: Day One Director

The upcoming “Death Stranding” film, being developed by studio A24, has secured its director – Michael Sarnoski, who previously worked on “A Quiet Place: Day One” and “Pig,” a movie where Nicolas Cage searches for his missing pig.

According to Deadline, Sarnoski and his team plan to start creating the Death Stranding movie adaptation once they finish work on Sarnoski’s Death of Robin Hood film. The director is also expected to write the script for Death Stranding. It’s unclear if creator Hideo Kojima will participate, but Kojima Productions will collaborate with A24 in co-producing the movie.

Kojima stated about the adaptation of “Death Stranding”, he won’t be directly in charge, instead collaborating with the producer on aspects like the storyline and so forth. He explained that other production companies had proposed large-budget films filled with action and explosions, but he wasn’t interested in that. Instead, he wants to create a unique film experience with A24.

In 2023, a movie based on the game “Death Stranding” was announced. Since then, a Director’s Cut version of the game has been revealed for Xbox Series X|S. Could this imply that we might witness the release of “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” on Xbox after its PS5 debut in June? Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
