As a die-hard fan of both Death Note and Among Us, I can hardly contain my excitement for this upcoming release! With a lifelong obsession with Light Yagami’s dark journey and my recent addiction to crewmate politics, the fusion of these two worlds is truly a dream come true.

A Death Note game resembling Among Us is about to release.

A well-known anime titled “Death Note” is set to release a game that incorporates elements of Among Us. Earlier today, renowned game developer, Bandai Namco, unveiled this upcoming title. The game combines characters from Death Note with an Among Us-inspired setting.

Death Note gets Among Us-styled video game

It wasn’t expected that you’d be jotting down names in a Death Note-like journal, but here’s an exciting twist: A new game lets one player impersonate others and eliminate them using a Death Note-inspired tool, while other players collaborate to identify the traitor before their actions prove fatal.

The game will feature various Death Note characters, such as Light, Misa, L and more.

Release date

The upcoming Death Note game, named “Death Note Killer Within,” is scheduled for launch on November 12th, 2024, which is just around the corner. This implies that gaming enthusiasts won’t have to wait long before they can embody their favorite Death Note characters!

Available consoles and platforms

It’s great news! The game, Death Note Killer Within, can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. This means that quite a few players will have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Hopefully, if it does well, we see it come to Xbox, Switch and maybe mobile.

Game rules

Regarding game guidelines, players will be divided into two groups, each aiming to uncover the identity of the opposing group. One group will strive to neutralize ‘L’ character, whereas the other will endeavor to acquire the fictional ‘Death Note’.

The game adapts the traditional narrative of popular anime series, transforming it into a lively, engaging, and somewhat ominous party experience.
