I’m thrilled to share some exciting news as a fellow gaming enthusiast! The brilliant mind behind Professor T, Ben Miller, has dropped a hint that our favorite crime drama is coming back for another season on ITV. Can’t wait for the fifth instalment!
Actor from Death in Paradise posted some pictures on Instagram, which were skillfully captured by talented set photographer, Toon Aerts, for the upcoming season.
I’m thrilled to be diving back into the world of gaming, where our beloved neurodivergent Cambridge criminologist, Professor Jasper Tempest, reigns supreme! This character, who shares my own struggles with OCD, is an absolute mastermind when it comes to cracking puzzles. His unique insights have made him indispensable to the Cambridge police force.
Through a social media update, Miller shared that the upcoming Season 5 of Professor T is edging nearer to gracing our television screens.
“Last week we wrapped Season 5 of Professor T!” the actor wrote in the caption.

Spending a few more months filming alongside an incredibly dedicated team of actors and crew members who consistently put their heart into this project has been a delight. He mentioned that there will be more behind-the-scenes content shared in the upcoming weeks.
At present, we don’t have a specific launch date for season 5, but it’s expected that fresh episodes will air sometime in the remainder of this year or possibly by early 2026.
Together with Miller, the cast of “Professor T” features Emma Naomi portraying Detective Inspector Lisa Donckers. She is a past student of Jasper’s who seeks his assistance for the first time on a case during season one.
The cast is completed with Frances de la Tour portraying Jasper’s mom, Adelaide Tempest, Juliet Stevenson stepping into the role of Dr. Helena Goldberg, and Zoë Wanamaker taking on the character of Zelda Radclyffe, who is the protagonist’s aunt.
The cast is rounded out by Frances de la Tour as Jasper’s mother Adelaide Tempest, Juliet Stevenson as Dr. Helena Goldberg, and Zoë Wanamaker as Zelda Radclyffe, the protagonist’s aunt.

5. The recent incidents involve a “boxing battle that spirals into violence, leaving bloodshed” and “an inexplicable chain of sudden fatalities occurring at a posh spa”.
As a gaming enthusiast taking a break, I’ve just found out that all seasons of the captivating show “Professor T” are ready to binge-watch on ITVX! However, there’s no official word yet about when we can expect season 5. Keep your fingers crossed!
