Death in Paradise writer confirmed for new BBC show packed with “clever twists”, based on hit book series
BBC Children’s and Education has confirmed the hit book series Crookhaven will be adapted for TV.
penned by J.J. Arcanjo, the teenage drama titled “Crookhaven” chronicles the story of 13-year-old pickpocket named Gabriel. After being apprehended for his thefts, he is given an unusual opportunity by the enigmatic Caspian Crook: to attend Crookhaven, a school specifically designed for thieves.
Justin Young is involved with the project, recognized for his contributions to shows like Ripper Street, Sanditon, and Death in Paradise.

This exciting family series takes place at the enigmatic Crookhaven School, where exceptional young con artists from around the globe are covertly chosen to refine their abilities in fields like Deception, Crimnastics, Forgery, and Infiltration.
