If you enjoy cozy crime dramas like Death in Paradise, you’ll love The Marlow Murder Club. All episodes are now available to stream in the UK, making it perfect for a binge-watching session.
This series is adapted from novels by Robert Thorogood, the creator of the popular BBC shows Death in Paradise, Beyond Paradise, and Return to Paradise.
This charming mystery series centers on Judith Potts, Suzie Harris, and Rebecca Starling as they investigate crimes and uncover secrets in the quaint village of Marlow.

The series first appeared on U&Drama in March 2024, and its sequel arrived a year after. Now, you can watch all episodes on Channel 4, as they’ve just been added to the streaming service.
I was really hooked by the first season, which is adapted from the 2021 novel! They’ve actually combined the original four episodes into two longer ones for Channel 4, which I think works really well. Good news is, the second season is staying as six separate episodes, so no changes there!

Digital Spy gave the second season a three-star rating, highlighting its enjoyable qualities and good casting. However, the review also mentioned that it wasn’t quite as good as the first season.
The connection between the women is also a pleasure to watch. Judith’s quirky personality still contrasts nicely with Suzie’s friendly and playful humor, and their combined appeal is rounded out by Beck’s sweet, though sometimes clumsy, character, as we noted.
Viewers are also enjoying The Marlow Murder Club, with an average rating of 7.2 out of 10 based on over 4,300 reviews on IMDb.

One viewer acknowledged the actors were good, but felt the script and directing were sometimes awkward. They did appreciate the beautiful scenery and the unique detectives featured in the show.
One viewer said they went into this expecting a lot, and it delivered! The creator, Robert Thorogood, is known for shows like Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise, and this one has a similar, lighthearted feel – perfect for easy watching.
The Marlow Murder Club is streaming now on Channel 4.
The latest issue of Living Legends is now available, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can find “Dolly at 80” at newsagents or online for only £8.99.
