Previously featured actress Joséphine Jobert recently disclosed an enticing development regarding her upcoming appearance in the crime series she was a part of.
After leaving her character Florence Cassell on the BBC’s crime comedy-drama last year, Jobert has moved from Saint Marie to a new series titled “Saint-Pierre“, where she takes on another police role set on another island.
A Canadian series narrates the tale of Donny ‘Fitz’ Fitzpatrick, portrayed by Allan Hawco, a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector who gets reassigned to serve in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon due to his probe into questionable activities by a local politician.
In the storyline, it becomes necessary for Fitz to collaborate with Deputy Chief Geneviève ‘Arch’ Archambault, hailing from Paris, who has personal motives for being in Saint-Pierre. Together, they join forces to tackle mysteries within their community.
After making its debut in Canada earlier this year, it was officially confirmed last month that a second season of Saint-Pierre is in progress, as indicated by Jobert and her fellow actors’ posts on Instagram.
