Broadway stars Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are married – following a two-year engagement.
On Sunday, September 1st, the actors officially married in a grand event attended by their loved ones and admirers, concluding their memorable multiday gathering at Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn
Galvin, who is 30 years old, shared with Vogue that they could not have wished for anything better. “We’re still in a state of bliss,” he said. “Mostly, we’re delighted because we get to spend eternity together.”
Platt expressed that our aspiration was to offer everyone a delightful, tension-free weekend brimming with warmth, providing a glimpse into our bond and the lifestyle we’re creating for ourselves
The Los Angeles team declared, ‘We intended for the dance event to be a success,’ they affirmed. ‘We believe that every objective was met successfully!’
The celebration kicked off with a Friday night Shabbat welcome dinner at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan.Â
Additionally, there was a post-event gathering featuring musical theater song sessions, along with a game night scheduled for Saturday
Given that some of Ben’s family are practicing Jews who observe Shabbat, our wedding couldn’t take place until Sunday, as Shabbat ends then. To maintain the festive atmosphere, we arranged a bar gathering with games and Lombardi’s pizza at Cellar Dog in the West Village on Saturday night, as The Good Doctor clarified
All the fun and games culminated with the pair’s nuptials, which was officiated by Platt’s longtime rabbi, David Wolpee.Â
Notable attendees were Beanie Feldstein, Kaitlyn Dever, Zoey Deutch (accompanied by her boyfriend Jimmy Tatro), as well as partners Cynthia Erivo and Lena Waithe. Also present were Kathryn Gallagher, stars Molly Bernard and Tessa Albertson from the show Younger, Broadway performer Micaela Diamond, Owen Thiele, and Eve Lindley. To add excitement to the event, the band Muna delivered an unexpected performance!
The ceremony concluded with a duet performance by their moms of a classic Jewish wedding song.Â
Later on, Galvin admitted that we had accidentally crushed some glassware. Fortunately, it shattered instead!
According to Entertainment Weekly, Platt enthusiastically shared that the unexpected performance by his cherished band, Muna, was the absolute best part of the evening for him
He stated, “At this moment, our spirits departed from our physical forms and we have yet to re-emerge.” He added, “We can never repay them. In fact, they even invited Noah’s brother Adrian, who is known as Yoke Lore, to conclude the performance with them on Silk Chiffon.”
In 2014, they initially crossed paths as Galvin was producing a web series along with some common acquaintances, who invited Platt to appear in a guest role
In his recollection, their initial collaboration took place in a small team setup inside an old apartment belonging to his mother, where we engaged in improvised scenes together. At that time, I portrayed his eccentric roommate who had a fondness for cacti and shed tears over his distant relative, Josh Groban. Noah showed a moderate level of interest during our work

At first, the character was played by Platt when the musical premiered at the Music Box Theatre in 2016. This performance led to him winning a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical
