Deadpool & Wolverine Star Joins Avengers: Doomsday

It seems that the film “Avengers: Doomsday” is poised to reintroduce an beloved Marvel Cinatic Universe character, last appearing in the 2024 movie titled “Deadpool & Wolverine“.

The initial cast reveal for “Avengers 5” broke records for the popular series, as it featured more than two dozen stars set to appear in the upcoming sequel. Many of these actors had originally played their characters over a quarter of a century ago.

Indeed, with more than a year until the premiere of “Doomsday,” it’s clear that Marvel is still fine-tuning its stellar cast list for this highly anticipated film. As the cameras start to roll, it seems another intriguing character might join the roster of what promises to be the blockbuster hit of 2026. I, for one, can hardly wait to see who will don the costume and step into their role!

Deadpool & Wolverine Star Joins Avengers: Doomsday Cast

Based on information from The Cosmic Circus, it appears that Wunmi Mosaku may take on the role of Judge B-15 once more in Marvel Studio’s upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday”.

Initially, Mosaku appeared as the character across two seasons of Loki, and later returned to play the same role in several scenes from the 2024 film, titled Deadpool & Wolverine.

She is now the second actor from Deadpool and Wolverine who has been cast for Avengers: Doomsday, alongside Channing Tatum’s character Remy LeBeau/Gambit. She will also be joining Tom Hiddleston, a star from Loki, in the cast, as they both reconnect following their collaboration on Disney+ projects.

As of writing, there are no rumored details about Mosaku’s role in the sequel.

How Will Deadpool & Wolverine Impact Avengers: Doomsday?

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but notice an intriguing connection between the cast of Deadpool and Wolverine, and the upcoming film Doomsday. Interestingly, only two actors from the former duo are now part of the Doomsday team. Yet, this seemingly small overlap is expected to make a significant wave in the upcoming Avengers 5, potentially shaping its narrative in ways we’ve yet to imagine.

A March 2025 Forbes report revealed that “Doomsday” would be created by “For All Time Productions U.K.”, a reference that appeared in the Loki series and reappeared in Deadpool & Wolverine, hinting at potential significance for “Doomsday’s” broader narrative in these projects.

Given that Tatum is now part of the cast, fans eagerly anticipate the return of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to their iconic roles, along with several other original X-Men actors. These actors would seamlessly fit alongside Mosaku’s B-15, especially considering the Time Variance Authority (TVA) appears poised to significantly impact the sequel’s plot.

Although Judge B-15 doesn’t play a pivotal part in the storyline of “Doomsday,” her association with the TVA leadership is likely to prove beneficial for the Avengers as they uncover the mysteries of interdimensional travel. It’s anticipated that Earth’s strongest heroes will eventually discover the TVA, an event that could pave the way for significant interactions involving B-15, Loki, and other characters.

At the moment, specifics about the movie “Doomsday” are being whispered, yet it won’t be long before discussions about these characters surface as part of the anticipation for Marvel’s upcoming team-up blockbuster.

Avengers: Doomsday is currently filming and will debut in theaters on May 1, 2026.
