Deadpool & Wolverine deleted scene will excite Gambit fans
As a lifelong Marvel fanatic who’s seen more comic books and movies than I care to admit, the revelation of Channing Tatum as Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine was nothing short of electrifying! His performance was spot-on, and it’s left me craving for more.
In the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine”, one unexpected appearance was that of Channing Tatum as Gambit, who had often been associated with the popular mutant character, despite no standalone film ever materializing.
After a long wait, Deadpool and Wolverine finally fulfilled a decades-old pledge. Channing Tatum truly excelled in his portrayal, leaving Marvel enthusiasts eagerly anticipating more performances like this one.
As a passionate gamer and avid Deadpool fan, I can’t help but get excited about the latest revelation! Ryan Reynolds, our leading man as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, has shared a previously unseen clip on social media. This tantalizing deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine seems to suggest that Gambit managed to escape the Void.
In the video just below, Gambit, played by Channing Tatum, is shown walking over the battlefield after the Resistance successfully defeated Cassandra Nova, portrayed by Emma Corrin. As he faces the camera, it looks like one of Doctor Strange’s portal between dimensions – often referred to as a Marvel Sparkle Circle – is opening up.
The exact destination isn’t entirely clear. Unlike other members of The Resistance, Gambit doesn’t seem to possess a home world that has been depicted in a Marvel film. On the other hand, Elektra and Blade have home worlds shown in earlier Fox movies. X-23 opted to return to Earth-10005 with Logan and Deadpool.
In the movie X-Men Origins, the character of Gambit was portrayed by Taylor Kitsch. However, in the context of Channing Tatum’s portrayal, we can speculate that his version of Gambit hails from a distinct planet or dimension.
Though it’s not clear where exactly the Marvel Sparkle Circle might lead him, one thing’s for sure – it leaves room for Channing Tatum’s much-loved character, Gambit, to potentially reappear within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return on the big screen, and this scene seems to hint that even Marvel Studios may be considering bringing Gambit back in the future.
