Deadlink Delivers Fast-Paced Cyberpunk Roguelite FPS Action on Xbox Series X|S Today
As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for cyberpunk aesthetics and a penchant for high-octane action, Deadlink has caught my attention like a neon sign in the night. With its roguelite elements, diverse combat classes, and an arsenal of weapon types that would make even a seasoned mercenary drool, this game seems tailor-made for me.
Today, the gaming publisher, Crunching Koalas, unveils their new title – Deadlink. This is a gripping, swiftly moving cyberpunk first-person shooter that includes aspects of roguelike games. The game offers smooth 60fps action at an ultra-high definition 4K resolution. In Deadlink, players can select from four distinct combat classes (after they’ve been unlocked), wielding over twenty different types of weapons and more than a hundred gameplay-modifying implants.
Designed specifically for game controllers, the console adaptation of Deadlink features a fresh ‘Chronodeck’ time trial mode where you compete against others by swiftly navigating intricate obstacle courses within the given time limit. In total, there are twelve Chronodeck maps to master, divided into three per Combat Shell.
The game Deadlink is currently available for both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. It retails at $24.99/£20.99. Additionally, a Chronodeck contest has been launched, allowing top players on Xbox to submit their scores with the opportunity to win an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller.
