Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster’s New Features Make For a Far More Appealing Experience – Preview
As a seasoned gamer with decades of zombie-slaying experience under my belt, I must say that the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is shaping up to be quite the treat. It’s not often we get a game that straddles the line between remake and remaster so gracefully.
The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster presents an intriguing blend. It doesn’t fall into the category of a typical remake or remaster; instead, it occupies a unique space between the two. To be precise, it leans towards both, making for an engaging experience that appears quite promising.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but excitedly share my enthusiasm for the stunning transformation of the 2006 game, which was wonderfully updated with an HD remaster in 2016. This revamped version boasts a comprehensive visual makeover, featuring fresh assets across the board. But that’s not all! It’s now equipped with contemporary features such as autosaves and enhanced survivor AI, making gameplay smoother than ever (thank goodness for that). Plus, you can now engage in zombie combat while Otis chats away on the radio – a delightful touch indeed!
Adjusted controls make Frank West more skilled in handling various weapons from the get-go, and he can perform dodge rolls immediately. These changes sound beneficial, don’t they? But how does it stack up against the original Dead Rising (or rather, the 2016 remaster)? We’ve got you covered! Dive into our comparison, and learn about what’s fresh and exciting, right here.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster launches for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 19th September.
