As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent slaying zombies in various apocalyptic landscapes, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing that Dead Island 2 is finally getting the New Game Plus and Neighborhood Watch mode updates!
In October, there’s exciting news for fans of “Dead Island 2” as Deep Silver along with developer Dambuster have revealed that the game will be getting a significant update. This update brings fresh content and new features to the already thrilling first-person zombie-slaying action RPG set in Los Angeles.
In addition to it, you’ll find the eagerly anticipated feature called New Game Plus. This allows gamers to revisit ‘Hell-A’ with their beloved characters, armaments, and fresh obstacles. The experience is heightened with a tougher difficulty level, new adversaries, and additional skill opportunities.
Patch 6 will also include a new ‘Neighborhood Watch’ co-op horde mode, pitting you against unrelenting swarms of zombies. You’ll play as the Bobcats, a trio of College survivors, defending their house in Venice from waves of undead.
Every time you complete a game of Neighborhood Watch, you’ll gain access to fresh challenges, novel skills, exclusive weapons, and themed outfits. Starting from the 22nd of October, Dead Island 2 will introduce New Game Plus and Neighborhood Watch mode.
