Dead by Daylight Limited-Time ‘2v8 Returns’ Event Offers a New Iteration of the Mode
As a seasoned Dead by Daylight player with countless hours spent lurking in the shadows and outsmarting survivors, I can’t help but feel a thrill of excitement as 2v8 makes its grand return! The latest iteration brings fresh content, refined gameplay, and a host of new characters that promise to spice up the already electrifying experience.
2v8, or “The Legacy of Frights,” initially appeared in Dead by Daylight back in July. Now, it’s back for a limited time, featuring updates based on planned changes as well as feedback from the community. 2v8’s most recent update focuses on enhancing the enjoyment for both Killers and Survivors by introducing fresh characters and settings. Joining the existing roster of Killers like The Trapper, The Wraith, and others are new additions such as The Blight, The Spirit, and The Deathslinger. Additionally, the Yamaoka Estate and Grave of Glendale maps, previously used in 4v4, have been revamped to accommodate the 2v8 gameplay.
In this game, survivors gain specific Active Skills, enhanced Passive Skills, and exclusive Perks for each character class. Meanwhile, killers are categorized into four separate Classes:
The 2v8 Returns mode is available in Dead by Daylight now, and live until 26th November.
