Supergirl Is Heading to Digital
I just saw this awesome new clip about Jason Momoa becoming Aquaman! It’s got scenes from the movie that really show he was made to play this part. They also showed some cool behind-the-scenes stuff of his transformation, and even quick interviews with James Gunn and Peter Safran, the heads of DC. Gunn hinted that Momoa’s Aquaman isn’t your typical hero – he said, “He’s not the most heroic guy in the world,” which is super intriguing!
Momoa explains, “I love anti-heroes. I love someone who, deep down, kind of lives by a code.”
Momoa really connected with his role, even adding spontaneous moments – like the door-kick – and fully becoming the character.
The upcoming movie, which follows the story of Superman, features a cast including Alcock, Momoa, Schoenaerts, Ridley, Krumholtz, Beecham, and Corenswet. Craig Gillespie directs, with a screenplay by Ana Nogueira. It’s based on the comic book series by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.
The series Supergirl tells the story of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and how she became the hero known as Supergirl. Kara is independent, experienced, and sometimes impulsive, bringing a unique and authentic style of heroism – she’s honest, down-to-earth, and always stays true to herself.
As a huge fan, I’m really excited about this! It looks like Supergirl gets pulled into a massive adventure when someone she cares about is threatened. She’s forced to team up with a surprising ally, and they embark on this incredible journey across the stars. It’s not just about blasting bad guys, though; it’s a story about how far she’ll go for revenge versus doing what’s right, especially when her best friend, Krypto the dog, is in danger! The trailer suggests she learns that being a hero isn’t always pretty or easy, which is a really cool twist.
