FunPlus is marking the one-year anniversary of its popular strategy game, DC: Dark Legion, with a special in-game event inspired by the famous Dark Nights: Death Metal story arc. From March 14th to 27th, players can enjoy the ‘Batman Death Metal’ event, a three-part anniversary celebration, and earn exclusive rewards.
The anniversary introduces Batman Death Metal and a new multiversal threat to the storyline
The “Batman Death Metal” storyline is about to impact the main DC story. A version of Batman from a broken timeline will arrive to warn Wonder Woman and the Justice League about a huge threat to the entire multiverse. Despite Wonder Woman previously defeating The Batman Who Laughs, it turns out the timeline wasn’t actually fixed.
A year ago, we fought against the Dark Legion. Now, we’re getting ready to celebrate our victory. However, danger still lingers.

Things are getting worse: The Batman Who Laughs is attempting to change events to prevent his own downfall. As if that weren’t enough, The Merciless is leading an army that’s about to arrive, and all of this is happening during a three-part anniversary celebration.
Collect materials and trade with others in the Planning Committee phase
The first stage is called the Planning Committee, and it focuses on getting prepared. As you complete daily tasks, you’ll collect various materials. You can then trade three of these materials for rewards and progress towards milestones.
Milestone points allow you to conserve resources during this stage. Plus, you can trade extra materials with other players, which helps everyone finish collecting everything they need.
Battlefront Gotham brings monster battles and Batarang attacks
In the second phase, called Battlefront Gotham, you can use Batarangs to fight monsters all over the map. Each hit earns you a small reward, and defeating monsters gives you even bigger prizes. After taking down five regular monsters, tougher elite monsters will appear, offering even better rewards. You can get Batarangs for free by completing daily tasks, or you can purchase them if you prefer.
Carnival of Heroes wraps up the event with a fun mini game
The last part of the event, called Carnival of Heroes, includes a fun music game. You pick from nine different notes and try to match them on a board to make chords, which keep the game going. The game ends when you run out of chances to create notes or chords, but you’ll still get rewards based on how many items you’ve collected.
To make progress in the game, you can form chords by matching the same notes or lining them up. Keep an eye out for special Lucky Notes, which can also help you create chords. I’m really looking forward to playing and collecting all the available rewards!
🎸 Batman: Death Metal 🎸
A powerful guitar riff calls forth shadowy warriors to fight alongside Batman, defeating enemies while he remains unharmed.
The more allies who fall in battle, the more intense the chaos becomes.
💥 Get ready for Batman: Death Metal, coming soon in our anniversary event!

Okay, so after the initial launch, things are really gonna expand! We’re talking a much bigger world map, new league territories to explore, and way more stuff to do on that map. I’m hyped for the solo convoy missions – finally, I can run my own show! Plus, they’re adding a proper competitive mode for those of us who like a challenge. And after the anniversary event, expect a big push for new players, which is awesome for keeping the community alive.
