However, this bittersweet victory was quickly overshadowed by an unimaginable tragedy that struck Amanda Waller’s family. Her daughter, a blameless soul, fell victim to a ruthless drug dealer known as Candyman. The news of her murder sent shockwaves through the city and prompted Amanda’s husband, Joe, to take matters into his own hands. With a heavy heart, he retrieved his gun and exacted vengeance upon Candyman. Tragically, in the heat of the moment, Joe also lost his life. The cruel irony lies in the fact that Joe’s heroic act of revenge jeopardized the Waller family’s financial security, as they are unable to collect on Joe’s life insurance due to his untimely and unlawful actions.

As a gamer, let me break it down for you: So here I am, engrossed in this game, and suddenly the characters from another universe pop up. Let’s talk about Amanda Waller and James Gordon. Amanda’s going through some tough times, life-shattering even. Meanwhile, on the news, there’s James, praising an anonymous citizen who helped nab a crook. He says something like, “It’s every citizen’s duty to step in when a crime is happening. As long as they’re ready to work with the cops, they’ve got the right to stay hidden behind our legal immunity system.”

It was common knowledge that the mysterious figure, known as the “citizen in disguise,” was indeed Batman. He frequently violated the law by acting as a vigilante, yet was still admired. However, when Detective Wilson visited Waller’s residence, he refused to entertain her concerns. Instead, he audaciously blamed the victim and questioned what her daughter was doing with a drug dealer. The turning point came when James Gordon spoke up, saying, “If anyone objects to this, argue with the constitution.”

Initially, Amanda Waller obtained a file from a police officer (which will be discussed further). Subsequently, she joined Councilman Marvin Collins’ political campaign team. In a bid to secure victory, Amanda Waller discovered dirt on Collins’ rival in the campaign and used it. However, when Collins refused to exploit this, Waller revealed that he had accepted bribes from Candyman. Believing his career was over due to his mistake, Waller threatened to expose Collins’ wife as a recipient of campaign funds. Interestingly, she wasn’t. Waller manipulated the records to give that impression. With no other option left, Collins was forced to use this information to clinch the victory in the race.
