As a long-time gamer and comic book enthusiast, I’ve seen my fair share of epic battles and universe-altering events. But DC Comics’ latest announcement has truly left me in awe. The summer event “Absolute Power” has taken the world by storm, with Amanda Waller and her Task Force VII stealing powers from our beloved heroes and putting the world on lockdown.
DC Comics is currently hosting the summer blockbuster event named “Absolute Power“. In this storyline, Amanda Waller and her Task Force VII, including Amazo, have seized the powers of numerous superheroes. These heroes are then imprisoned, leaving the world under tight security. The situation has escalated to such an extent that even heroes beyond Earth are unable to intervene.
Even with all the ongoing events in the comic book realm, DC Comics unveiled significant updates a week prior to San Diego Comic-Con, leaving fans excited about the upcoming developments. The announcements promise to be fantastic!

As “Absolute Power” comes to an end, a more formidable adversary emerges in the form of Darkseid with renewed menace. The valiant heroes of the DC Universe are compelled to intervene, but their clash sets off a chain reaction that creates a multiverse disturbance. The aftermath births a fresh and unrecognizable universe.
The universe is now referred to as the “Absolute Universe.” In DC.com’s terminology, “DC’s most iconic characters grow up with fewer advantages and encounter stronger opposition than ever before, yet they maintain their unwavering heroism that continues to captivate and amuse fans.” This storyline unfolds in DC All In Special No. 1 on October 2, which is written by Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson. Absolute Trinity
In simpler terms, authors Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta present “Absolute Batman,” a version of the Caped Crusader devoid of wealth, Alfred the butler, or Wayne Manor. What sort of Batman emerges from this setup? The illustrations of “Absolute Batman” depict a Batman larger than life. Is this Dark Knight a lethal force? Or is this just a disguise, not Bruce Wayne beneath the cowl?
In simple terms, writers Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval present to you an alternative take on Superman titled “Absolute Superman“. Unlike the Superman we’re accustomed to, who had a Fortress of Solitude, a loving family in the Kent’s, and other iconic elements, this version strips him down to the core, leaving out these distinct features. This unique portrayal of the Man of Steel could potentially offer an intriguing twist to the Trinity.
To put it another way, let me add that writer Kelly Thompson and artist Hayden Sherman are responsible for bringing us the captivating “Absolute Wonder Woman” comic series. Wonder Woman, without the guidance of Themyscira or her sisters, transforms into an intriguing version of herself. Her design is breathtakingly beautiful, and she soars through the sky on a winged horse with fiery red eyes. Although she appears battle-ready, this interpretation of Diana might hold a more tender heart. Regardless, I’m eager to discover her story. (Wink intended)
