DBZ Villains Reborn… as Crocs?! You Won’t Believe Who’s Back!

In a thrilling twist, two formidable antagonists, Frieza and Cell, make their return as a fashionably menacing duo of shoes. They have been added to the exciting partnership between the “Dragon Ball Z” series and Crocs brand.

In line with the announcement, Frieza and Cell will become nationwide sensations as the newest additions to the Dragon Ball Z x Crocs Collection, an anime-themed footwear lineup. The stylishly menacing clogs are set for release exclusively at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports on May 28, 2025. This collaboration follows closely on the heels of the previous release, which is available only on Crunchyroll.

Frieza & Cell Look So Good Being Bad in the Latest DBZ Limited Edition Crocs Release

The timeless Dragon Ball Z characters, Frieza and Cell, will soon be available in Classic Clog styles for both kids and grown-ups! Adult sizes will sell for $70, while children can get their pairs for $55. Similar to past Dragon Ball character launches, these Frieza and Cell footwear have been meticulously designed to embody the villains’ distinctive themes. Furthermore, these anime-themed clogs come with collectible Jibbitz trinkets tied to the series.

The Dragon Ball Z Frieza Classic Clog sports a combination of white and purple, boasting four distinctive emblems from the Frieza storyline. The right foot showcases Frieza in his initial form and his final power-up against Super Saiyan Goku on Namek, while the left foot displays Frieza at full strength advancing towards the observer, accompanied by an image of his spaceship.

On the other hand, the Dragon Ball Z Cell Classic Clog showcases colors reminiscent of its villainous muse and embellishments related to the Cell saga. Two Jibbitz charms adorn the clogs: one depicting Perfect Cell in a headshot and another capturing him gearing up for an attack, along with an image of Cell Jr. Additionally, both Cell’s name and its Japanese characters are also included.

The new footwear based on “Dragon Ball” series couldn’t be better timed, as the English dub of “Dragon Ball Daima” concluded its run on Crunchyroll just recently. Shortly after, it was nominated for an award, then another one. It’s worth mentioning that collectible Crocs inspired by “Dragon Ball Z”, as well as other popular characters, have been released before.

20 episodes of the latest anime version of Dragon Ball Daima, found on Crunchyroll for streaming, have been released. The English dubbed version, featuring Stephanie Nadolny as Goku (Mini), concluded with a one-hour special broadcast on May 16, 2025. As the series description states, “Goku and his team are leading tranquil lives when they shrink unexpectedly due to a conspiracy!” When they start investigating, they find that the cause might be linked to a world called the ‘Demon Realm.’ A mysterious young Majin named Glorio then appears before them.
