‘Days of Our Lives’ star reaches settlement over allegations of sexual harassment

Arianne Zucker, known for her role on “Days of Our Lives,” has settled her lawsuit against the show’s producers. The suit, filed in 2024, claimed she experienced sexual harassment and discrimination while working on the set.

The settlement was officially filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday. The details of the agreement haven’t been released. A representative for Zucker’s legal team was unavailable for comment at this time.

Alethea Zucker began playing Nicole Walker on “Days of Our Lives” in 1998. In a lawsuit filed in February 2024, she claimed that Albert Alarr, who was then an executive producer, harassed and discriminated against her and other female employees, including instances of sexual harassment.

Production on ‘Days of Our Lives’ has been paused while an investigation takes place regarding inappropriate behavior by one of the show’s top executives. Many cast members are also calling for new leadership.

According to the lawsuit, Zucker stated that Alarr would intentionally press his chest against her breasts while hugging her and making sexual noises. She also claims he frequently made inappropriate sexual comments to her.

Despite maintaining his innocence regarding the claims made against him, our client has chosen to settle the lawsuit to resolve the matter and avoid further legal battles, according to his attorney, Robert Barta.

The lawsuit filed by Zucker also included Corday Productions, the company that runs the show, and its owner, Ken Corday, accusing them of retaliation. Zucker claims her pay and travel allowance were cut after she raised concerns, and that her character was removed from the show after two decades, in June 2023.

A few months later, Corday Productions offered to extend Zucker’s contract, but the lawsuit claims they didn’t discuss a raise with her agents.

Arianne Zucker filed a lawsuit against former ‘Days of Our Lives’ producer Albert Alarr, claiming he made unwanted sexual advances and inappropriate comments while they worked together. Alarr has denied these accusations.

Attorneys for Corday and Corday Productions did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Corday Productions previously stated to The Times that Zucker’s accusations are false. They said they offered her a raise when they proposed renewing her contract. The company also confirmed that concerns about Alarr’s behavior on set were quickly looked into, they fully assisted with an independent investigation, and ultimately fired Alarr as a result.

“Days of Our Lives” originally aired on NBC, which is owned by Comcast, from November 8, 1965, until September 9, 2022. It then continued on Peacock, Comcast’s streaming service, in 2022.
