At the New Yorker Festival over the weekend, he reminisced about the time when he recorded his initial podcast episode alongside his wife Bell (age 44).
When queried about their supposedly extraordinary connection, he playfully quipped that it didn’t compare to hers and Brody’s.
Indeed, I couldn’t help but gush over the passionate and heartwarming moments between Bell and Brody, 44, when they graced our screens together. It was an experience that left me absolutely captivated!
He began by saying he watched the show with his friend.
Together, we viewed what I believe to be the most exceptional kissing scene ever captured on screen. In my opinion, it stands above all other such scenes in cinema history.
He remembered: “My longtime friend, Aaron from our youth, would ask me, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?'” or simply “He remembered his childhood friend Aaron asking, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’
In response, Shepard said he answered: ‘No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that.’
This hit romantic comedy features Joanne, a sex podcast host who’s not religious (portrayed by Bell), and Noah, a recently unattached rabbi (played by Brody). It’s the story that everyone seems to be talking about.
An improbable couple develops feelings for each other, yet the bond between them faces tension due to contrasting spiritual convictions and intrusive family members.
This past month, the popular television show, inspired by creator Erin Foster’s true-life romance with her husband, received a green light for another season.

‘I’m not trying to be reductive, but I think there’s a math to it,’ she explained.
‘You have two actors who can skillfully maintain a long, suspenseful gaze into each other’s eyes. It’s crucial to build upon this moment effectively and create tension before the kiss, which I believe adds significant emotional impact.’
