Davina McClaus! Newly-married star shows off her festive look as she frolics on an armchair in playful snaps

Davina McCall, recently married, shared some fun photos of herself dressed as Mrs. Claus, playfully posing on an armchair.

The 58-year-old TV star married celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas, 49, in a small, private ceremony in London. This came just two months after they unexpectedly got engaged while in Ibiza.

Just before her first Christmas as a married woman, Davina posted some fun photos dressed as Mrs. Claus to help promote her podcast.

I absolutely loved Davina’s outfit she posted on Instagram yesterday! She was rocking this adorable red and white co-ord set – a cozy fur-lined cardigan and a super cute mini-skirt. It looked so comfy and stylish!

She finished off her holiday outfit with red and white striped knee-high socks and sparkly gold sequin heels.

Davina shared some photos before the Christmas Eve episode of her Begin Again podcast, joking about the team’s request for a simple Christmas headshot.

Earlier this month, Davina married Michael in a small London ceremony, choosing a white, fur-like coat instead of a traditional wedding dress.

Photos captured the sweet moment the couple left Marylebone Town Hall as husband and wife.

Davina beamed with her new husband, showcasing a white fur coat and delicate lace hat over matching tights and heels. Michael looked sharp in a bright blue suit.

Davina and Michael received lots of love and support from family and friends at their wedding. Before the ceremony, Davina’s 21-year-old daughter, Tilly, posted a video on TikTok.

Earlier this month, the presenter publicly showed off her wedding ring for the first time while appearing on the Stand Up To Cancer 2025 event.

Oh my gosh, it was the sweetest thing ever! During the show, Davina actually cried! This patient from Addenbrooke’s Hospital, who was going through so much with cancer, was so thoughtful and asked her how she was doing, right there during the Cancer Clinic Live segment. It just completely got to her, and honestly, it got to me too! It was such a beautiful moment.

The actress, who shared in November that she’d had surgery for breast cancer, visited Stewart and his wife, Michelle, at the clinic to talk about his fight against bowel cancer.

The special, single-time clinic followed patients through key stages of their care, from getting test results to receiving treatment.

As their heartfelt conversation concluded, Davina wished Stewart all the best, and he reciprocated. This left the actress clearly moved.

Choking back tears, she said: ‘Can I just say, you asking me that, I can’t believe that.’ 

She added: ‘Can I just say something, I’m really good.’ 

Stewart smiled, pleased with Davina’s gratitude. She gently touched his face as she thanked him for being so kind.

As he and Davina walked away, she called out, still wiping away tears, ‘Have a good meeting, thank you! Merry Christmas to both of you – I love you!’

During the segment, Davina also urged the public not to skip their cancer screenings. 

Broadcasting live from Addenbrooke’s Hospital as part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer, she explained that detecting cancer early remains the most important thing we can do.

If you take away one thing from tonight, it’s this: even if you believe you don’t want to, or don’t need to know something, trust me, you actually do.

Trust yourself and listen to your body – you know yourself better than anyone. Taking care of yourself is vital, not just for your own well-being, but also for the sake of those who care about you.

In November 2024, Davina shared that she had been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, which is a rare brain tumor.

She bravely endured a gruelling six-hour operation to remove the 14mm cyst. 

Roughly a year later, on November 8th, she shared that she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer six weeks prior. She had found a lump during filming of The Masked Singer and thankfully, surgery had been successful.

Davina shared that the illness was detected at a very early stage, but treatment with radiation therapy would still be necessary.
