Returning home has felt incredibly meaningful, even amidst the chaos. It’s truly heartwarming to be back where I belong. I find myself on a new side of things, and my short-term memory could use some improvement, but that’s something I can address and am excited about rectifying.

As a devoted admirer, I’m meticulously jotting down each action I take to ensure my sense of security. Remarkably, Michael and my mom are taking exceptional care of me, leaving no stone unturned in their nurturing efforts.

“I want to take a moment to show appreciation for all the wonderful stepmoms out there. Truth be told, I don’t express gratitude to Gabby often enough. Throughout my life, she has been a constant source of support and strength for me.

In a heartfelt tone, she went on: ‘Yesterday, I conversed with someone, and I mentioned that I’ve received an overwhelming amount of Vitamin G. Whenever something like this occurs, I find myself feeling incredibly thankful. Gratitude has always been a part of me, and I consider myself quite fortunate in life.’

Indeed, my heart is filled with profound gratitude at this moment. Therefore, let me express my sincere appreciation to each one of you. I am progressing well, taking rest, enjoying plenty of sleep, and feeling exceptionally well. Truly, I’m aware of how fortunate I am.

In her post’s title, she wrote: “Hey!!… Thank you so much for the messages! They’ve made a huge impact on me. I just wanted to express my gratitude towards @mdlondon, who truly deserves the ‘Ultimate Boyfriend’ award. According to me and everyone else who knows us.

Additionally, the title of “Best Mom Ever” goes to @gabbamccall. Thank you, my dear mother. You are not only an exceptional grandmother but also the best mother I’ve ever known.

I’m doing quite well now. Enjoyed a wonderful night’s rest in my own bed. Had a few power naps throughout the day to keep my mind refreshed… taking things one step at a time… immense appreciation, and affection for the world, my life, and the wonderful people who are part of it.

‘Thank you to all my friends. You are the best. Thank you to @clevelandclinic and my amazing neurosurgeon. Kevin. I love you. Thank you Sydney, sarah, and all the amazing beautiful souls that cared for me.

‘Get used to this. It’s going to be pouring out of me.’

As I return home, I’m touched by the warm wishes pouring in from my celebrity friends. Olly Murs wrote: “I’m so glad to see you back home! We all adore you, sweetie!” *heart emoticon*

It’s great to see your friendly visage again. Take care and let the kind folks around you do their job 💕

Craid David added: ‘You’re amazing Davina. And we all love you so much.’

Alison Hammond wrote: ‘Hope you recover quickly, star ❤️.’ Meanwhile, Paloma Faith commented: ‘You’re an exceptional and stunning individual… We’re all hoping the best for you xxx’ (This version attempts to keep the original sentiment but rephrases the phrases in a more natural and easy-to-understand way while maintaining the tone of encouragement and admiration.)

“Sending you a heap of love, fantastic lady!

This past week, Michael Douglas, Davina’s partner, shared an extensive update on their Instagram after her surgery, saying: “Greetings everyone. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has sent their well wishes.

Oh my goodness, I can hardly contain my excitement! In just a day, she’s taken such a monumental step forward. She’s no longer in the ICU now, and it feels like she’s awakened with a newfound sense of appreciation for life – a ‘loving awareness’. Thank you so much, Michael. I’m beyond grateful! 🤗❤️

The grid post then read: ‘Update – Mega progress these last 24 hours. Massive relief to see some light breaking through. Thanks for all the good vibes coming in from all angles. Up and Up.’

Fans swiftly responded to her post, expressing affection and reassuring her that they were relieved to hear she was alright.

Over the weekend it was revealed that she was out of surgery and ‘recovering in ICU’.

In other health news after her procedure, Michael shared that the operation went exactly as expected and he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for all the support everyone has shown.

He wrote: ‘Hey all, Davina is out of surgery and according to the surgeon it was textbook!

‘She’s currently recovering in ICU as a precaution, as you can imagine she’s utterly exhausted.’

Michael commented: We are extremely appreciative for all the kindness shown by everyone here… it’s incredibly impactful, and we can’t thank you enough. Michael, with love.

Davina explained that she received the diagnosis by chance after booking in for a ‘health scan’.

In the video, Davina shared that she received an offer for a health scan, assuming she would excel at it. However, she discovered an extremely rare, benign brain tumor instead – one that occurs only about three times out of a million people.

For a short period, I chose to ignore the issue at hand, sought advice from a few brain surgeons, formed numerous opinions, and eventually understood that it was essential to address the matter directly.

It’s rather large, measuring approximately 14 millimeters across, and I need to get it taken out because if it continues to grow, it could cause problems. I’ve scheduled its removal.

She added: ‘Say a prayer for me. I’m in good spirits.’

Davina shared that though she wasn’t facing an imminent threat, her doctors had expressed worries that the tumor might expand further and lead to potential complications in the future.

I shared that my emotional state has been fluctuating, and I clarified that I will be spending at least nine days in the hospital before returning home.

As a devoted admirer of the intricacies of the human body, I’ve come across this fascinating entity called a colloid cyst. Unlike other tumors that rapidly expand, a colloid cyst is a gradual grower, often nestled in the heart of our brain. This tranquil invader, however deceivingly calm it may seem, is packed with a gelatinous substance, making it as mysterious and captivating as any enigma one might find in a thrilling novel.

They are often asymptomatic and found incidentally during imaging tests.

Should signs manifest as the tumor expands, they’re often described as consisting of severe morning headaches, feelings of nausea, and impaired vision that appears blurry. Other significant symptoms might include dizziness (vertigo) and double vision.

As a diligent follower, I’ve often encountered situations where individuals come forward with headaches, but it’s not uncommon to see additional symptoms such as dizziness (vertigo), challenges with memory recall, and double vision too.

If a colloid cyst becomes sufficiently large, it can block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the brain, potentially causing a significant risk of abrupt, life-threatening complications.

Davina’s spouse, Michael, posted the video on her behalf, writing as the caption: “Hello all! This is Michael. Davina won’t have internet access for some time while she undergoes this brain surgery to recover.

She’s doing wonderfully well, and she’s under excellent care. I’ll occasionally post updates from her account for those who might be curious.

‘I’m sure she’ll read all the comments when she’s able to so feel free to send love . The support of people is amazingly powerful. Have a great day everyone. Michael xxx’.

Speaking as a lifestyle connoisseur, let me share an intriguing piece of news. Not long ago, this renowned figure unexpectedly graced our screens on I’m A Celeb, just over two weeks following a surgical procedure. Quite the comeback, isn’t it?

After the primary program, she unexpectedly appeared on Ant and Dec’s Instagram Live, leaving them astounded yet ecstatic as she joined the broadcast.

And amid her recovery she sent the duo a message which read: ‘Hey everyone! Still here’ alongside a laughing emoji, as cheers broke out in the I’m A Celeb studio, according to The Mirror.

Thrilled, I exclaimed: “Looks like Davina McCall has joined us everyone!” Then, Ant added his warm greeting: “I hope you’re doing great, sending a boatload of love from this jungle of ours.

In response to the crew’s cheers of “We love you, Davina!”, the ex-Big Brother host signaled her departure by posting a message saying she was signing off.

While Ant joked: ‘We were too much for her, we were too loud.’
