Davina McCall and her husband, Michael Douglas, were among the celebrities who attended a party hosted by the London Chamber Orchestra at the stylish Peruvian restaurant Sucre in London’s Soho on Thursday night.
The 59-year-old TV star looked stylish in an olive green leather jumpsuit and showed affection for a 49-year-old celebrity hairdresser.
Davina looked stunning while boating, with her outfit accentuating her figure. It featured a high collar and a belt with her initials, cinched tightly at her waist.
Michael, who married the former Big Brother host in December 2025 after dating for seven years, looked sharp in a pinstriped blazer and dark pants.
Oh my gosh, I nearly fainted when I saw Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran there, looking incredible at 67, with his absolutely gorgeous wife Yasmin, who is still stunning at 61! And Lisa Dwan, the amazing actress, was there too! It was a dream come true, honestly.
Special guests enjoyed a private orchestral performance by candlelight, along with a custom three-course meal, all within the building that once housed the London College of Music’s concert hall.
Chef Jack Godik’s menu featured classic Peruvian food like tostadas and empanadas, with dulce de leche for a sweet finish.
Davina recently revealed details about her wedding, calling it “the most perfect day.” The ceremony was small and intimate, with just 11 guests.
Davina, accepting an award at the Bestseller Awards for her book Menopausing, publicly thanked hairdresser Michael for his unwavering support.
She explained that he’s a fantastic supporter of women and especially those going through menopause. He’s personally helped her and many other women deal with hair loss related to menopause. She often gets recognized on the street by women who are grateful for his help, and they smile and nod at her as she passes.
After Davina faced some health challenges in 2025, she and her partner recently talked about what they’re looking forward to in the new year.
Davina finished her radiation treatment for breast cancer. She was first diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumor in November 2024.
Davina discussed a noticeable change she felt while recording their podcast, Making The Cut, and attributed it to the supermoon on January 3rd. She believes things shifted immediately after the new year, starting with the supermoon sighting.
‘We got married and it was the supermoon.’
Michael shared that last year was the most difficult of his life. He felt completely broken by the experience, to the point where he felt exhausted and defeated by November.
I honestly believed I wouldn’t be able to get through this, but I feel amazing now—better than I have in years.
Davina replied: ‘But you have, and you are amazing.’
During the show, Davina and Michael talked about whether she would change her last name after getting married. Davina explained that she plans to continue using her professional name, saying, ‘I’ve always been Davina McCall, and that’s how I’ll continue to be known publicly.’
Michael said, ‘So, you’re officially my wife now.’ Davina agreed, ‘Yes, I’m staying that way.’
The couple married only three months after their engagement in Ibiza, and they celebrated with a small group of close friends and family – everyone they cherish.
Davina and her partner recently got married after he stood by her through a brain tumor removal and, more recently, a breast cancer diagnosis. Friends say her health challenges led them to decide to tie the knot now.
Davina and Michael received lots of love and support from family and friends at their wedding. Before the ceremony, Davina’s 22-year-old daughter, Tilly, even shared a video on TikTok.
