Davina McCall has revealed that she’s been given the all-clear following her brain surgery.
In November, one of the judges from The Masked Singer revealed that she had a benign brain tumor removed through surgery. Since then, she’s been keeping her followers informed about her recovery process.
And in this latest Instagram post, she shared what she called her “final” update about her tumour.
In conclusion, here’s our latest on brain surgery. This week, we had the final MRI scan. Dr. Kevin O’Neill successfully removed everything during the operation, and there’s no sign of recurrence.
I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone at OneWelbeck and Cleveland Clinic. A big thank you to my mom, Michael Douglas, for their exceptional care. Sarah, you’ve been an incredible friend, and to my wonderful kids, you mean the world to me. Lastly, a huge shout-out to @brain.surgeon.uk, truly the greatest of all time in your field.
I am incredibly thankful, especially recognizing that many individuals are dealing with incurable tumors. It’s a humbling reminder of the fortunate position I find myself in, as I have the ability to close this chapter and continue living my life, while others are unable to do so.
“And I’m just gonna say this one more time. Benign does not mean fine.”
In addition to the text, the article featured a video where Davina and Michael recited the caption’s content and provided a scanned image showing the appearance of the tumor.

Lately, Davina made an appearance on Comic Relief and described it as potentially one of the toughest experiences she’s ever faced. Moreover, she’s candid about how the surgery impacted her memory.
Last month, it was revealed that Davina will take on the hosting role for a new reality series titled Stranded on Honeymoon Island. This show is set to air on both BBC One and iPlayer towards the end of the current year.
