Davina McCall details “mind-blowing” experience following health battle: “Don’t know how that happened”

Last November, I found myself going under the knife for a brain tumor removal – a benign one, thankfully. And let me tell you, it was an absolutely mind-boggling journey I’ve just come back from.

After my surgery, I’ve been keeping my dear fans updated regularly, and just recently, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve received a clean bill of health!

Reflecting on my conversation with Women’s Health UK about the past year, I shared that when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, I turned to my partner, Michael, and expressed, “Should I pull through, this experience will undoubtedly be the most extraordinary event of my life.

After experiencing life following brain surgery, Davina described her post-surgery experience as “awe-inspiring” and “extraordinary.

She expressed that coming back to life post-surgery was simply incredible – wow! Amidst the overwhelming feelings of apprehension and the sense of being institutionalized, where her home became the only sanctuary, forgetting how to adapt to regular routines – every small victory felt like a tremendous success.

In her journey towards healing, Davina acknowledged that exercise played a significant role in rekindling her happiness. She expressed it as follows: “I firmly believed that exercise would assist me in my recovery. It seemed like the crucial element I was lacking.
