Davina McCall and husband Michael Douglas fly to Florida for their ‘honeymoon’ ahead of Christmas following their intimate wedding with family and friends

Davina McCall and her husband, Michael Douglas, are enjoying their honeymoon in Florida after having an early Christmas celebration.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just found out! They did get married! Apparently, it was super secret, earlier this month, and now they’ve just flown off somewhere sunny to escape the winter! I’m SO jealous! They’re the cutest, and I can’t believe they’re already off on their honeymoon – it’s like a dream come true for them, and honestly, for me as a fan just knowing they’re happy is everything!

During an Instagram Live session with his followers, 49-year-old hairdresser Michael shared that they had a celebration the previous weekend before going to the airport.

He broadcast live from his hotel room, and viewers could see Davina, 58, briefly in the background, wrapped in a towel as she was getting ready.

Michael told fans: ‘We are in the United States of the Americas. 

I’m so glad we decided to come away for the holidays – we really needed to unwind and enjoy a Christmas somewhere different. We actually already had Christmas back home in the UK this weekend, so we’ve got that covered, and now we can just focus on relaxing here!

Michael shared a congratulatory message from a fan about their wedding, thanked them, and then began answering questions about hair.

The video quickly received a lot of comments from their fans, including one that simply said, ‘Merry Christmas you two! Enjoy!’

Davina shared some cheerful photos on Monday, dressing up as Mrs. Claus and playfully posing on an armchair.

In photos shared on Instagram, she was wearing a red and white outfit with a fluffy lining, consisting of a cardigan and a mini-skirt.

Davina finished off her outfit with red and white striped knee-high socks and sparkly gold sequin heels.

Davina shared some photos before the new Christmas Eve episode of her Begin Again podcast, joking about the team’s request for a simple Christmas headshot.

Davina chose a white, faux fur coat instead of a traditional wedding dress when she married Michael in a small ceremony in London earlier this month.

Photos captured the sweet moment the couple left Marylebone Town Hall as husband and wife.

Davina beamed as she posed with her husband, showcasing a white fur coat and lace hat over matching tights and heels. Michael looked sharp in a bright blue suit.

Davina and Michael received lots of love and support from family and friends at their wedding. Before the ceremony, Davina’s 21-year-old daughter, Tilly, posted a video on TikTok.

Earlier this month, the presenter publicly showed off her wedding ring for the first time while appearing on Stand Up To Cancer 2025.

In November 2024, Davina shared that doctors had found a colloid cyst, which is a rare brain tumor.

She bravely endured a gruelling six-hour operation to remove the 14mm cyst.

Roughly a year later, on November 8th, she shared that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer six weeks prior. She’d found a lump during filming of The Masked Singer and had thankfully undergone successful surgery.

Davina shared that the illness was detected at a very early stage, but treatment with radiation therapy will still be necessary.
