In a highly awaited event, one of history’s most exciting musical reunions is about to take place. Fans are advised not to miss this fantastic opportunity!
Host Davina eagerly expressed her enthusiasm before the event, saying: “I’ve been part of many Red Nose Days, yet every time I host, it turns out to be the best night imaginable. It’s an incredible sense of unity for a remarkable cause, combined with loads of fun and laughter.
“I have a heartfelt affection for everyone associated with Comic Relief; they’re simply remarkable. Furthermore, I recognize the generosity and vibrant spirit of our audience. Truly, there’s nothing quite like that special night – it fills me with pure delight!
Regarding Comic Relief’s enduring impact, she remarked: “What I admire about Comic Relief is its ability to collaborate with numerous charities, extending its influence far and wide. It targets areas where funds are desperately needed the most. I consider myself fortunate in life, and being able to contribute in some capacity holds great significance. However, being able to do so with a charity that I hold in high esteem and trust makes it all worthwhile.
Davina expressed her thoughts by saying: “These year’s presenters are truly exceptional! It feels like we’re all part of one big team, and behind the scenes, it’s always supportive, warm, and hilarious. But on stage, it can get quite unpredictable. You just never know what might transpire.
However, since everyone is exceptionally skilled, it’s understood that even if things veer wildly from the planned course and chaos ensues, everyone has the ability to regroup and continue the performance seamlessly.
I really enjoy the thrill of not knowing exactly what will transpire or how things will turn out. It’s incredibly exhilarating.

In the meantime, Jonathan commented on his fellow actors: “This is an exceptional team. Over time, Red Nose Day has grown from just a handful of presenters handling everything to a larger cast with guest stars.
I’ve collaborated with many of them – Joel, Davina, Alison, Rylan, and even competed alongside AJ on The Chase, though she unfortunately pressed the button a bit too late! Despite being more structured now than before, I hope there remains a good dose of spontaneity. It’s that element of surprise and excitement that truly sets it apart.
The judge on The Masked Singer has hinted that Alison is the one who will keep everyone chuckling behind the scenes.
In another words, he jokingly stated: “Amidst all these comedians, I believe Alison Hammond will be the one who makes us laugh the most. She’s like a perpetual motion machine – I can hardly wait to hear her contagious laughter filling the halls.
At that moment, Alison shared her excitement about hosting the show, as it was something she was asked to do by Comic Relief co-founder Lenny Henry.

She expressed that she had an advantage this year since she had the opportunity to interview Sir Lenny Henry and he encouraged her by saying, “I believe you would be great for presenting the show. I’d love for you to get involved.” To which she responded, “You know what? This is something I have been wanting to do for years.
When he proposed the idea, my immediate reaction was, “What a fantastic opportunity!” It seemed like a clear choice for me, and I’m elated that they agreed. I’ve always admired the show, with its unique blend of humor and charity work. So, it’s not just an exciting prospect, but something I feel deeply honored to be a part of, as if this opportunity has been long awaited. Needless to say, I’m thrilled!
Speaking about being a part of the Show’s 40-year history, she expressed: “Oh, it’s tremendous! Ever since its inception, I’ve been a dedicated supporter. For four decades now, I’ve never missed an episode each year. I genuinely adore this show.
The work they perform is truly astounding, and the charities they advocate for are truly inspiring. I enjoy watching the movies that highlight their accomplishments, the lives they’ve impacted, and naturally, I wish to contribute. It’s essential to lend a hand when it comes to charitable causes!
Red Nose Day returns live on Friday 21 March on BBC One, BBC Two and iPlayer from 7pm.
