Davina McCall, 58, shows off her ripped abs in a pink gym top as she enjoys sweaty boxing workout following breast cancer battle

Davina McCall is known for her love of fitness, and this week she enjoyed a vigorous boxing workout.

The popular TV host, age 58, posted a video of her intense workout on Instagram. She showed off her toned abs and fit body while wearing a bright pink top and colourful leggings.

I just watched the new clip of Davina, and honestly, it’s incredible! She’s playfully throwing punches at the camera, and it’s so motivating, but also… exhausting just watching her! It really shows her energy and dedication.

The podcaster, who had breast cancer surgery in November, looked incredibly fit and energetic as she moved around with a lot of enthusiasm.

She shared after her workout, ‘I loved the @daniel_duckett_ workout so much, it’s making me want to run a marathon!’

Just last month, Davina revealed how she reacted to her breast cancer diagnosis, which came months after a mammogram showed no signs of the disease. She explained that the news led to an intense emotional reaction when she returned home.

The presenter discovered she had the illness last November while doing a self-check for lumps during a break from filming The Masked Singer for ITV.

Her diagnosis came nearly a year to the day of having a benign brain tumour removed. 

When she learned she was sick, her husband, Michael Douglas, a hairdresser, was with her. She said he surprisingly helped her process her feelings once they returned home.

She recounted him saying, “I want you to know it’s okay to express your anger towards me, whether you want to yell or just tell me you’re upset. I’m listening.”

Davina, keeping a brave face, then told him that she was ‘fine’. 

I told myself I wasn’t upset, that it was okay and probably a learning experience. I was really trying to look on the bright side.

‘And he said, “but if you were angry, it’s okay. You can, you can be angry”.’ 

Although she first denied how she really felt, he comforted her again, and finally, she let out all her anger.

She explained that she became very frustrated and found relief by physically releasing her anger on the cushions and pillows, which she described as therapeutic.

Oh my gosh, I was listening to Heart Breakfast and Davina just broke my heart! She said getting the cancer diagnosis felt like the absolute worst possible timing – like everything was already so hectic and then this happened. It’s just… devastating to hear her say that. I feel so bad for her!

She announced on Instagram in November that she had cancer, but thankfully it was detected very early. She will need radiotherapy as part of her treatment.

She first discovered the lump while working on The Masked Singer. A sign in the bathroom at the Lorraine studio encouraged her to get it checked, which she did. A biopsy later confirmed she had breast cancer, and she successfully had it removed with a lumpectomy.

She explained that 2025 was a challenging year, as she recovered from the effects of a brain tumor. It was a tough time, not just for her, but for her husband, Michael, as well.

Almost two years after my brain tumor diagnosis, in October, I received a second diagnosis: breast cancer.

It felt like a sudden, overwhelming shock. I was finally starting to feel like myself again.

Davina underwent a short course of radiotherapy in January 2026, and is now ‘cancer free’.

She also emphasized how fortunate she was, and urged all women to regularly check their breasts for lumps. She discovered a lump in October of the previous year, and had previously had a mammogram in August.

Just because you recently had a mammogram doesn’t mean everything is okay. It’s important to be vigilant and thoroughly check for any changes. If you notice anything unusual, see a doctor right away – it only takes a few seconds to get it checked out.
