David Tennant and his wife, Georgia Moffett, made a stylish appearance at the 2025 BAFTA Scotland Awards in Glasgow on Sunday night. This came after they reported receiving a series of death threats to the police.
The 54-year-old actor proudly displayed his Scottish heritage while wearing a black plaid kilt secured with a red pin.
He wore a black blazer decorated with silver gemstones and a white shirt, completing his outfit.
To accessorise, David wore a leather, tasselled, black and silver sporran tied around his waist.
David completed his look with a pair of black knee-high socks and black leather, lace-up boots.
He was accompanied on the red carpet by Georgia, 40, who wore a stunning, simple black sequin dress.

I absolutely loved her outfit! She wore this gorgeous long-sleeved dress and finished the look with these statement silver earrings. And the perfect touch? A sleek silver clutch to carry everything in. It all just came together so well!
The couple went out after having to report more disturbing death threats online to the police. This happened only a few weeks after someone offered money to have her harmed.
Earlier this month, the actress shared screenshots on her Instagram Stories of hateful messages she received, which included being called a deeply offensive name and threatened with death.
Georgia, married to actor David Tennant since 2011 and mother to their five children, was identified in reports as his ‘ex-wife’.
She was also subjected to harsh and hurtful abuse, being called ‘disgusting’ and told to go back to where she had come from.
Georgia shared screenshots of the messages and tagged both the Metropolitan Police and Instagram, hoping they would step in and help.
The actress and her husband have six children: Olive, 14, Wilfred, 12, Doris, 10, and Birdie, 5. She also has a 23-year-old son named Ty from a previous relationship.
In September, Georgia shared that she’s being stalked and that someone offered a reward for her murder online. She contacted Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg, asking them to intervene.

She showed an example of one of the threats she received, which stated: “Anyone who kills Georgia Tennant will be rewarded by me.”
Oh my gosh, you guys, earlier this year my absolute favorite actress posted the sweetest message to her husband! Can you believe they’ve been together for seventeen years already? Seriously, it was so adorable, I screenshotted it immediately. They’re #couplegoals, I swear!
Georgia shared a collection of photos from their time together, praising her husband as someone who is kind, funny, and incredibly generous.
She playfully teased her husband after he didn’t win a BAFTA Television Award this weekend, even though he was nominated for his work on the Disney+ show Rivals.
Georgia celebrated 17 years with her partner, expressing her gratitude and joy at sharing life with him. She affectionately described him as kind, funny, and incredibly generous, playfully noting his lack of a BAFTA award, and declaring him ‘the one’.
Georgia and David met in 2008 while working on the BBC show Doctor Who. Georgia played the role of David’s character’s daughter, Jenny, who was created through genetic engineering. They got married three years later.
