On Monday, the news took many by surprise as David Pollack, a previous ESPN anchor, announced that his spouse was going to have brain surgery.
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), the 42-year-old former ESPN host disclosed that his spouse, Lindsey Pollack, is scheduled for surgery due to her ongoing battle against brain cancer.
He asked his fans for their ‘prayers’ ahead of the grueling ordeal.
He usually keeps his personal life private on social media, but today he decided to share something important: please keep his wife Lindsey in your thoughts. Unfortunately, she’s been diagnosed with brain cancer and is scheduled for surgery at Duke Hospital this coming Wednesday.
As a devoted supporter, I’d like to rephrase the statement as follows: Previously causing a stir with comments suggesting women should not be included on the College Football Playoff selection committee, Pollack expressed gratitude for serving a compassionate God who understands and supports us through our challenges.
